We stayed one night on our way down the Maine coast. Upon entering our room, we were hit in the face with a musty smell likely from the old carpet and furnishings. It got much worse when using the air conditioner which provided a stream of moldy but cool air. The location of the Inn is ideal with a few minute walk to the Marginal way. The back building where our room was located is badly in need of renovation considering the $350+ nightly cost. Will be choosing better lodgings next time visiting Ogunquit.

Great location! Everything in town/beach is easily walkable. Close to the Marginal Way ocean path. Our room was a little small and dated, but was clean and comfortable.

I liked the fact that they had a hot tub and I loved the firepit area after a long day of traveling. I also liked the citrus water available in the lobby. However, if you're not in the main house, be prepared for some wear and tear if you're staying in one of the surrounding buildings. The location of the hotel is great in terms of walking to the Marginal Way/Perkins Cove. It was good for a one-night stay.

Great views of the ocean from our room. The property had a friendly and helpful staff. The room was nicely remodeled. You could tell that the property had recent renovation. Access required climbing a steep set of stairs - no ramp to the main entrance and check in desk, which would have been helpful when arriving with bags.

Another Great Stay

A great value for a hotel with breakfast in Ogunquit. Close to town and Perkins Cove, so no need to drive anywhere. Small pool also. Nice lobby and a big front porch. We have stayed here many times and find it fine for us.

Jessica the office manager was delightful. She made us feel at home and played a funny trick on me. She as a joke had a stack of pretend dollar bills when I asked as a joke for $10,000 in unmarked bills when the hotel asked if there was anything we wanted upon our arrival. They had music in the lobby and there were couple playing cards. What a very nice place that felt like home. We loved our stay in Ogunquit, and the Colonial Inn and Jessica had a lot to do with it. Thank you!
