Centrally located, Ducks Crossing is a 4-bedroom 3-bathroom Ohakune holiday home with room for the family. This spacious, well equipped house is just the ticket for a comfortable alpine option, within walking distance to the shops and 20 minutes drive from Turoa ski field!

This 4 level Ohakune holiday home includes warm and welcoming open plan living on level 2 - the multiple fireplaces are sure to keep you toasty during crisp winter getaways, or catch some sun and check out the tranquil garden surrounds when the weather is warmer. The kitchen and dining areas flow easily onto the deck, ensuring easy al fresco summers.

Located on level 1 bedroom 1 is fitted with queen bed and has its own kitchenette,& dining area and lounge with 1 single bed and couch with tv and ensuite. Also on level 1 there is another self contained bedroom with a queen bed, couch, kitchenette, tv and ensuite.

Another bedroom on level 3 has 2 single beds with gas fire. The bedroom on the 4th level is a large room with a queen bed, bathroom with separate bath & shower.

Unwind in comfort with ample room for your group to have their space, enjoy the WIFI, or set out on adventure - stroll to the local shops, hit the slopes for action packed days up the mountain, or visit the local hiking and cycle trails. Ohakune makes an excellent year round holiday option, with National Park an easy drive away where you can walk the Tongariro Crossing.

Stay at 158

158 is a bit rundown and needed a good clean especially the carpets that did not look like they had been vacuumed. We wiped the mould off the window frames. Heat pump not working when we arrived until we went and got new batteries for remote. No mattress protectors. No axe to chop wood. Lights in lounge entrance buzzed because of faulty transformers and we had to turn off. Top floor toilet cistern runs continuously. Both fire ash buckets full Could not see any smoke detectors. damaged cupboard in kitchen, steps outside to top level damaged and dangerous and slippery. No contact number for any emergencies. We could have stopped the water damage when downstairs hot water cylinder pipe burst but could not find any phone number to call. We had to call book a batch. Outside needs a good tidy up.

Perfect spot for a family getaway. Extended family all fit in nicely. It was really nice having the main area, but separate self contained areas on the lower floor.

Multi-family haven

The prefect place for our multiple family holiday escape. The room set up is such that each family could enjoy their own space as well as a shared area. Location was nice, easy walking distance to powder keg. The property is on a hillside and a lack of flat area is the only real downside.
