Nice onsen hotel but expensive.

Beautiful onsen hotel. The only problem was their name says they are in Oijo but the are actually 50 kilometers away and the taxi ride wa 10,000 yen. You need to take a local train to Hiji and a taxi from there for 2000 yen.

Room had a fabulous view out to sea. Booked the hotel for the kids to use the waterslide but it was not open (despite it being September and still very hot) - that was disappointing. The kids did have fun nonetheless in the arcade and squash court. Property was tired and run down, outdoor areas overgrown and not maintained. It was very clean though. Perhaps it is better maintained at peak periods? Staff friendly and helpful.

[総評] 夕食バイキングを付けず、朝食のみなら十分宿泊する価値のある宿だとは思う。夕食バイキング単体だと7000円するらしいが、7000円だすなら目の前でステーキ焼くとか、てんぷら等も揚げたてが食べたかった。 [食事] 結論、正直夕食のバイキングを付けたのは失敗で、朝食は近くに店が無いのでつけても良いと感じた。やはり、飯は飯屋に尽きると思い知らされた。夕食は確かに素材は良さそうだが、18時の開始直後に入ったのにスペアリブ、とり天、豚肉のステーキ？の肉類は冷え切っていた。バイキングの大皿の下に固形燃料みたいな物で火がついていたが、これでの温め待ち？また、魚介類については刺身が鯛だけで、その他はエビ、明太子(朝食のみ？)、琉球丼の具といった感じで、夕食の値段を考えると、もう少し刺身等の種類を増やして欲しいと思った。子供が多くうるさいのは口コミで事前に知っていたので、特に気にならなかった。 [風呂] おおむね満足。シャンプー類は良くある馬油系のやつ。サウナもぬるくなく良い感じだが、個人用マットは見つからなかった。少し残念なのは経費削減の為か、ジェットが２穴有るうちの片方からしか出ていない&水圧が弱い [部屋] 可もなく不可もなく。お茶菓子や水は無し。電子レンジは共用部にしかない。風呂はユニットバスでシャンプー類は使い捨てのやつ以上、プランによってはもう一度泊まるかもしれない。

女性用の露天風呂から見える海は最高！だが、目の前の雑草によって絶景が遮られてしまってとても残念です。あの雑草が無ければ抜群の景色だった。

Seaview with big window

The seaview is really impressive! Not new decoration but in good condition and we like western style too. The breakfast is poor, for Japanese may be okay, but for foreigners, choices are limited.

Water park not yet open

So sad that the water park not available during my visit day. It opens since 13/7. I’m about one week ahead. And misleading by website when book. But the sea view is great and give you a relax holiday feel. The staffs are helpful.

外観は、少し年月が経っている感じはしましたが、館内、部屋は、至ってキレイでした大浴場は、ジャグジー、サウナ(多分あった)、海を見ながら入れる広い露天風呂、しかも温泉と、満足！朝食ビュッフェも、種類も多く、丁寧に作られた感もあり、美味しかったので嬉しかったですなんと言っても、宿泊の値段の安さ！自分は、子供さんたちが学校が既に始まっている時期の8月31日泊で、ファミリーも少なく、バタバタ感もなく、ビジネスホテルよりも安く泊まれたのが、大満足でしたまた利用したいホテルです
