A couple things to cover.1. If you use Google Maps to explore the area around this property, you may think this is a dilapidated neighborhood. DO NOT BE DECEIVED. The apartments in the neighborhood are either recently remodeled or rebuilt entirely. There's still some construction material and equipment around, but I heard no noise, so I don't know if they're still working or just haven't cleaned up yet.2. If you think areas where there are a bunch of apartments are "sketch", don't worry about it here. I saw no evidence of crime, gangs, drugs, loud parties, or any of that. Just blue collar folks trying to earn a living.The apartment itself. Well maintained. Clean. Comfy bed. Full kitchen to cook just about anything you want. Gated parking area with your own reserved spot for easy entry and exit. Quick access to I-44. There's a quickie mart next door to get just about anything you may have forgotten at home.Communications with the owner were solid. Got accurate access instructions and rental terms were clear and upfront.Considering hotels were sky high during the NCAA tournament, this place was a hidden gem. Great value for the money, whether there's a tournament or not.If in town again, I'll hopefully be back.
