Weird stay
I read some reviews after booking a room. One of the reviews said, the toilet seat was not secured and there were cigarette burns in the bed sheet/blanket. When we got our room, I bet we got the same room the person who wrote that review because our toilet seat was not secured on the toilet and there were cigarette burns on the blanket on one of the beds. (before booking, the room said "smoke free") The floor was also gross. Like it hadn't been mopped. I forgot my indoor sandals so I had to walk around barefoot. My feet were covered in dust/dirt in just a few minutes. The towels were cheaply thin and tiny. Wasn't even big enough to cover my body. The shower leaks water even though we had the curtains pulled from wall to wall. I got out of the shower and there was a puddle of water in the bathroom. The bar soap provided by the motel was also cheap. I don't really like to use hotel /motel soaps but I didn't bring one this time so we had to use the motel's soap. Looked like it was re-molded or something. I unwrapped one of the soaps and a corner or part of the corner was so thin, it melted in just a couple uses. There are hobos walking around everywhere in the area. I got stopped once and was asked for money.. Not at the motel but at the 7 eleven at the corner one night while going to get snacks. I'm not a big person so that was scary.. Breakfast selection was sad. A lot of the stuff needed refilling. There was almost nothing to eat. Had breakfast 1 day only due to that.
