Tucked away up a beautiful stone staircase, on the top (first) floor of an exclusive, quiet residence, this spacious apartment sleeps 4 people. The residence is full of Italian charm. The contemporary kitchenette in the living/dining room is well-equipped with a hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Mokka coffee machine. The attractive living area has a table that seats 4 people, a comfortable sofa, flat-screen TV and wide sliding glass doors that lead out to a large, shaded terrace overlooking the sea. This corner terrace has another dining table that seats 4 people and deckchairs for relaxing in the sun.

Location
On the edge of the small beach town of Pittulongu, this apartment is a 5-minute walk from the beach. Pittulongu beach is one of the finest on the Costa Smeralda – long and wide with glorious white sand. It is particularly popular with families, as the crystal clear, shallow waters are very safe for bathing. The area is well known for its snorkelling, thanks to the pristine sea. You can hire sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, as well as jet skis and windsurfing boards if you are feeling more energetic. There are also fine coastal hikes with views of the famous island of Tavolara. The island of Tavolara claims to be the smallest kingdom in the world and is well worth a day trip for hiking, swimming and lunch at the famous Da Tonino restaurant, run by the island’s current king.

Closer to home, Pittulongu has a variety of excellent restaurants. If you would prefer to cook yourself, there are several farmers’ markets in Olbia (11 minute drive from the apartment). The best market is on Saturday at Via Sangallo. In Pittulongu there are many of the amenities you may need: shops, pharmacies etc, however, you are advised to bring your own car when staying at the property.


Olbia airport is just a 15-minute drive from the apartment. If you plan to arrive by ferry from Livorno or Civitavecchia the ferry terminal in Olbia is only a 10-minute drive away.
Not suitable for elderly, the car is essential.
