Nestled in a peaceful rural setting, the property shares the front entrance of a long driveway with a neighbor. However, the home offers complete privacy, as the neighbor is not visible from the residence.

Old Chatham, NY, is a picturesque hamlet in Columbia County, known for its timeless rural charm and rich history. Nestled among rolling hills and scenic farmlands, this idyllic spot offers a peaceful escape with beautifully preserved 18th and 19th-century homes, giving the village a classic New England feel. The landscape is dotted with open fields, woodlands, and tranquil vistas, perfect for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling.

Step through the front door into a spacious open-plan living and dining area featuring impressive 9-foot ceilings. The beautifully renovated kitchen boasts stunning white quartz countertops, shaker cabinets, and sleek stainless steel appliances, making it an ideal space for meal preparation. Sliding glass doors provide easy access to the wraparound deck, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The large island offers seating for four, while the inviting living and dining area includes a smart TV and a dining table that comfortably seats eight. Don’t forget to visit the local farmers' market for fresh, seasonal ingredients to elevate your culinary creations!

Conveniently located just off the kitchen, you'll find a dedicated office space perfect for working remotely, along with a laundry room for added convenience. The first floor also features a stylish half bathroom for guests. Additionally, there’s a garage, providing ample space for ski storage and outdoor gear.

The second floor boasts a luxurious primary bedroom, complete with a king-sized bed and a spacious walk-in closet. This tranquil retreat also includes a dedicated workspace and an en-suite bathroom featuring a relaxing soaking tub, a standalone shower, and double sinks for added convenience.

The second floor also offers two additional bedrooms, both with closet storage, that share a full bathroom featuring a tub and shower combo. One bedroom is furnished with a twin bed, while the other has a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top—perfect for accommodating family or guests.

The fully finished basement offers a spacious family room with a pullout couch, Smart TV, and a fun foosball table. An additional bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom provide extra comfort. Enjoy easy access to the backyard and fire pit through the sliding doors.

Embrace the outdoor space! Unwind in the Adirondack chairs by the Solo Stove, making s'mores under the stars. Dine al fresco on the wraparound deck, and for some winter fun, hit the sledding hill—sleds are provided!

Having a car will greatly enhance your ability to explore Chatham effectively. 4WD is suggested in the winter season.
