There is a train that comes by at night about every 2 hours. If you’re a light sleeper this may not be the place for you. No regular tv channels and horrible WiFi to connect any streaming networks. Outside the room the internet was fine but once inside room 8 it was horrible. I will say this place is close by and easy to walk the shops/pier which is good because there is no free parking anywhere that I saw, even at 4am. We wouldn’t stay here again as OOB was a little too chaotic for us.

OOB Motel

Okay overall for the price. Easy access to the beach and a short walk to the pier. Check in was easy and the bedding was clean. Check out is 10am but they allow you to leave your car til 3pm for free parking. However, the floors made your feet black within the first few minutes of walking on them, so keep your shoes on as they do not mop frequently. My biggest complaint is the room doors only lock with an outdoor keypad, No interior swing bar locks inside the room. Shortly after entering our room another family opened our door with the key pad, not realizing we had checked in. So I think its safe to assume they do not change the pin numbers in between guests which is a little unsettling.

We had the best stay at this motel! Such a throwback beach vibe in oob, and this motel has a clean pool, walk to beach EASILY! And the staff at this place is so nice, accommodating and friendly. We had a big vehicle and the staff helped us find good parking and when we needed anything they were a huge help.

Looks are deceiving on the outside, sign in missing a letter, but the rooms are a delight. We had #1, and worried about street noise, but noticed new windows installed and didn't hear anything except when the train went by , which woke us up in a hurry! We stayed two nights, no room services so we had to go to office to get clean towels. No kitchen towels or soap provided. Bare basics room, but clean and location was excellent.

Staff is so friendly!

Had trouble with the internet but the staff was quick to help. Also, it felt like the train was running through our room at night it was so close. It was only an issue because my toddler is a really light sleeper, so we didn’t get very much rest. Really liked the property and staff will try again when our son is older!

They staff made my 16 year old girls very uncomfortable as they would not stop staring at them. The locks on the doors didn’t work properly and the room had stains on the beds and on the walls. We left after 10 minutes.

Room wasn’t as clean as ide like, beds are so UNCOMFORTABLE, they slope towards the headboard and made it difficult to get comfortable. Pillows???? Bring your own. Noise levels from adjacent rooms and above are noisy
