Everything about the property was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was first class with bacon eggs etc made to order and an excellent selection of fruit cereals etc. We also had dinner on two evenings and it was very good, a reasonable choice and varied menu. The bedroom overlooked the pool and garden. The bedroom was a little dated but the bed was very comfortable. We would certainly recommend this hotel to couples and families, but would definitely need a hire car if you were staying any length of time as the property is situated in a rural area.

Le temps est comme suspendu dans cet hôtel. Le cadre est magnifique, calme. C'est un hôtel à taille humaine et on s'y sent bien. La cuisine est excellente ! Absolument à découvrir en Algarve.!

Good hotel to stay one or two nights

Pros: quiet place in country side, nice pool
Cons: Food, esp. Evening menu and vegetables. Friendliness of staff
Location: close to Tavira town, shopping center
The hotel is nice, after the tourism stress around the well known towns, it is nice to come back to this quiet place in the country side. The staff at reception is kind of reserved, "say hello to everyone passing the desk!". Room is fine, pool is great. Food is so la la, everyday a fresh fish, OK, but always the same vegetable (wok kind of convenience greens), hardly any taste. Breakfast is OK, nice fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice etc., for any egg-preparation you have to pay extra. Over all: nice place to stay, calm down. But not too long.
