It was a nice place with cool location making it easy to get around this part of France and the beach. The staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with in English. The only negative was that our unit had mildew and smelled a bit, other than that it was clean and would recommend for families with small children

Very friendly service, nice pool and cafe pm site, easy to reach the beach. But flimsy construction, you have to put all sheets etc yourself, we had no soap, somedays we got a dish towel others not, and … rodents.

This is NOT a hotel at all.

This is a French camping resort. The area has probably 500 campers, mostly families.with small children. You stay in a tiny house, which was not too bad BUT you get 1 towel each, no toilet paper, bath wash hand soap, nothing. If you are expecting primitive i guess it would be ok but if you are traveling through France and not prepared to "camp" then it was a pain to have to buy everything. FYI - pool was too crowdes to ever use AND you cannot leave the ground and reenter until after 6.30 pm.

Family vacation

Nous avons passé 15jours en famille à Blue Océan. Piscine parfaite pour les enfants. Mon fils de 6ans a adoré le kids club gratuit. La supérette, le dépôt de pain et les pizzas à emporter sont très corrects. Les moins : le wifi payant est de très mauvaise qualité ; l’eau chaude très difficile à régler, douche très chaude (parfaite pour moi mais beaucoup trop chaud pour les enfants) ou froide. Nous avons tout de même passé un très bon séjour. Je recommande ce camping.

Excellent camping stay near the beach

Excellent location, warm pool (kiddie pool not heated), playgrounds, parking, and a friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this location in Landes! We cycled to the beach in 15 minutes, and there are nearby supermarkets and attractions. Cabin was cool, but take a fan if it will be hot. Only complaint: LOTS of mosquitos!! (but some spray and a plug-in bug repellent kept the cabin bug free)

Sympathique et naturel

Endroit calme, propreté à revoir même si cela n’est que des détails, poussières dans les endroits en hauteur, toile d’araignée avec les araignées, joints de porte de douche noirci dans les parties basses, mais surtout la température de la douche qui passe du froid à chaud plusieurs fois de suite et qui est très désagréable (revoir donc les chauffe-eau), Le frigo qui se balance, s’est pas mal aussi. (une petite cale ou un réglage aurait suffi). Les équipements sont sommaires mais c’est bien suffisant. Je ne suis pas déçu pour autant, l’emplacement est tranquille, le lieu est agréable. L’accueil est agréable. Des détails importants mais seulement des détails.
