In the middle of the Kvarner Bay and surrounded by the Ucka Mountains is the breathtaking Villa Opatija. The villa can accommodate up to 8 people who can expect something special. The main entrance leads to the second floor where the cozy and inviting living room is located. Step out onto the balcony and enjoy the wonderful views of the surrounding area. On this floor there is a bedroom,
equipped with a double bed, a bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen with dining area. 3 further bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are located on the ground floor. There is also a typical Croatian "konoba" on the ground floor where the whole group can spend time together. The basement of the villa is ideal for those who value luxury. You can stay active and exercise in the private gym or relax in the sauna. Soak up the sun by the pool or dine al fresco on the terrace. Villa Opatija has everything you could need on vacation!"Veprinac, a small hilltop town near Opatija, used to be a well-known European tourist center. The name "Veprinac" is associated with the butcher's broom, a plant species that grows almost in abundance in this region. Take a walk through the town and enjoy the view of the entire Kvarner Bay. Veprinac is only a short drive from Opatija, the stunning coastal town with beautiful architecture and a pleasantly mild climate. Tourism in Opatija dates back to the 19th century, when the Habsburgs made Opatija a destination for the nobility. When in Opatija, be sure to visit Villa Angiolina, which marks the beginning of tourism in the town. Take a walk through the 19th century city parks (Park St. Jacob and Park Angiolina). Lungomare is also a wonderful way to get to know the region. The promenade stretches from Preluka to Lovran and connects Opatija with numerous beaches and bays.
