If your looking for a stress-free getaway - Dave's Escape is the perfect place. ( We love Dogs ) more on that later. This recently renovated 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home is located on a very quite street. The house is 1846 square feet including 2 King beds, 1 Queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a sleeper sofa. You will find the neighborhood welcoming and very comfortable to walk around. Bring your boat / wave runners - Boggy Point boat ramp is only 4 miles away. Want to hit the beach!!! (Cotton Bayou Public Beach Access) is only 3.5 miles away.

Also, bring your bikes - The Orange Beach Backcountry Trail has seven trails that among six distinct ecosystems make up more than 15 miles! Back to pets - all pets must be leashed within the City of Orange Beach per city ordinance - Please make arrangements to crate, feed and potty your pet as needed and please make sure your pets are up to date on all vaccinations. White Shores/host assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. * There is a $150.00 non-refundable pet fee for each pet* White Shores also reserves the right to charge additional fees if your pet causes any damage to furniture or premises.

* Due to the Covid-19 , all comforters have been removed from beds. We have replaced with a quilt that is washed with each stay. If you prefer heavier bedding, you may want to bring extra bedding. We want to do our best to offer a clean bed for your stay.

Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival and may be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or certified funds (cashier’s check, money order, or certified check). For stays under 14 days, the remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file.

Stays of 14 days or longer (including winter stays) must be paid in full 90 days prior to arrival. Payment by check is required to avoid a 3% credit/debit card processing fee. A 3% fee will apply to long-term stays paid by card.

We enjoyed our stay so much! However, we did have trouble contacting the host about the internet not functioning. We left a message via the Vrbo app and through White Shores. We managed to tether our phones to the TVs. Other wise it was a perfect stay for us.

The staff was more than helpful, friendly and fast to respond. The property was clean and accommodating. Location was perfect, close to food, shopping, groceries, the shore and more. They even had pet scoops and dog bowls!

We used this location for a fishing and golf trip. The house was just as advertised and in a very good and convenient location. We enjoyed the house which is larger than it appears from the outside. Beds were comfortable as was the furniture. The only negative was the first day there was no Wi-Fi or Internet. The company Helped take care of this and the situation was revolved all day two. We would stay here again for sure.

We had a nice stay for a wedding down the road at the cultural arts center. We were not booking for the beach, so it was not a problem that it was not nearby. Nice older neighborhood-walking distance to a restaurant, which was great. Excellent for bringing the dog along.

Bigger than it looks

This is the second time we have rented this property. There were nine of us and we all were comfortable. It’s a great orange beach location. The house looks smaller in the pictures but it is surprising inside. I would definitely recommend this rental.

We liked it so much that we tried to book again but it was booked. There is more space than is in the pictures. We weee very comfortable with 10 people. Will be booking again this summer.

Dog hair everywhere!

As I opened the door, the home had an unappealing smell; like an old stale home or something. Then, as we went to bed that evening, all the sheets had long black dog hair all over them. Terrible feeling, both my children wanted to leave. We are washing the sheets before bed. While we are waiting, my husband and I are sitting on the sofa and again, so much dog hair. We did call and they offered to send cleaners over. We declined that offer because we had already been to buy cleaning supplies and had cleaned and washed sheets ourselves. No other communication from them was made. After returning home, our things smelled like that home; so gross. We had to remedy that as well. We loved the location.
