Summary:
This beautifully renovated 1941 cottage offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Featuring three spacious bedrooms, a modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry, it’s the perfect retreat for families, friends, or couples.

With an open-plan layout, guests can enjoy entertaining, unwind with a glass of local Orange wine, or stream their favorite shows on our 55-inch Smart TV with multiple streaming apps.

The Space:
Located on historic Lords Place, this charming, tree-lined street is just a short stroll to the town center, where you’ll find fantastic cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops.



Our Story

We were lucky to become the third owners of this beautiful cottage, and our rear neighbor even grew up here, adding to the warm community feel. Over the years, our family (along with our two Cavoodles) has created many wonderful memories in this home.

While work has taken Melissa to Newcastle, I continue to work at the local mine, allowing me to maintain and improve the cottage for our guests. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have—and yes, pets are welcome at no extra charge!

The Neighborhood:
Orange is a beautiful city steeped in history and beauty. Wide tree lined streets filled with elegant period homes that tell a story about the earlier days in Orange. Home to just over 40,000 people, this high altitude city is host to a variety of events through the year including food and wine, cycling, running, hot air ballooning, regular farmers markets and plenty more. Home to some of the best cool climate wines in Australia and a selection of fine dining restaurants and cafe’s, Orange has plenty to offer.

Getting Around:
The local wineries are a 10 to 15 minute drive from town

A $300 pre-authorisation hold will be placed on your card before check-in. This is not a charge and will be automatically released after your stay, provided there are no damages or breaches of house rules.
