The room and bathroom weren't very clean. The hotel needs to step up its pest control; we killed a cockroach that was on the ceiling. The minibar wasn't cooling properly. Otherwise, it was fine for a one-night stay.

I asked to move to another room as I think there were bedbugs and maybe also a baby roach in the one I was given. I was allowed to change rooms which didn’t seem to have problems although it was next to the elevator. Have stayed here before without issues, in general it has been a quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Our fav in Santee.

We always stay here on our way up and down the east coast. It is our favorite. Great staff, clean rooms and great breakfast in the morning. Great restaurant across the street that we make sure we always go to. Great food, and drinks after a long drive. Would highly recommend!
