The room was clean and things were quiet. It could use some updating but overall eveything was fine. The shower worked well, bed was fine, nice tv. The room smelled nice. It worked fine for our 4 night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast needs to be more than cold cereal, milk and coffee.

Excellent stay

Everything was very enjoyable. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our favorite was the easy access to the beach right outside our motel. Our maid Rosa was absolutely amazing. Overall we Everything was amazing. The only negative was the elevator was super small and slow at times but we managed. Will definitely visit again.

Needs warmer lighting

The only downside is the lighting in the room, LEDs are sunlight color. A warmer color would add to the ambiance.

The property is clean and very well maintained, although the building and fixtures are starting to show their age. I would rather stay here at a clean well maintained but aged facility than most of the newer accommodations in the area. The staff here are very friendly and responsive. I will stay again the next time I'm in Orangeburg for business.

By my mistake - I didnt notice this hotel has smoking rooms. No other rooms available . Nearby hotels full. Crummy night spent breathing second hand smoke . Make sure you are booking a Non Smoking room

90s era hotel

The room was simple but clean. Everything worked that I tried. The shower pressure was okay. I felt like I was being transported back to the early 90s though. The rooms could go through some light renovations and look drastically different! I hope they see this and make those changes.

Highest crime rate including murder and property crime of any city in South Carolina. I tried to cancel my reservation based on safety concerns and have yet to hear if it was cancelled. Since I did not feel safe I chose not to stay in Orangeburg and booked a hotel in Beaufort SC.
