Safe, basic,inexpensive downtown option. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. I walked to the marina daily for scuba diving. The room had concrete floors, countertops and sinks.. Decent beds and TV. No bar or restaurant on site. Past it’s heyday. For a 72 year old solo traveler it was Okay.

This property was the worst I’ve ever been! They have ROACH, there isn’t any quality customer service. We needed towels and they gave us a hard time. The shower faucet was broken in so many areas! The shower had MOLD. The towels they provided had holes. Everytime we reach out the the hotel owners management they didn’t do anything to accommodate us other than make excuses and give us attitude. I hate this place and don’t recommend. Looked nothing like the picture. And they have fake reviews onlinw

I enjoyed the quietness of the property, and the security it provided. Everyone was great with the communication and Ms. Irma is a gem. I would recommend if you are staying here to get a rental as sometimes taxis aren’t available and it is a few minutes from downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

La experiencia fue bonita, el hotel está en una muy buena ubicación, sin embargo, las fotos que aparecen en Expedia no muestran el estado actual del hotel, y esto deja mucho que desear. La infraestructura se ve vieja y deteriorada; le falta mucho mantenimiento. La atención por parte de doña Irma fue muy cordial y siempre estuvo atenta. La habitación estuvo limpia y ordenada. No nos gustó el hecho de que el lavamanos es muy pequeño y no había mucha luz en la habitación.

The property’s location was convenient, just a short walk from the shopping street and close to the beach. The room was spacious and beautiful, with a wood paneled room. Everything was perfect FOR ME!!! Number 1 as a single woman traveling alone I felt safe!!! Number 2 - I felt comfortable!!! Number 3 - I felt welcomed!!! I have stayed in the all inclusive resorts on Palm Beach, but I would pick Perle d’Or City Apartments again and again!!! I enjoyed the architecture, the pool, and the peacefulness of the property. Irma and Zulaika are absolutely the best!!! From My Personal Perspective this was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to stay there again!!! Everyone’s opinions are different but your time there will be what you make it so make it amazing!!! Also, the bedding was so comfortable I loved the white linen and blanket!!! The room was very spacious!!! The was nice and hot!!! Plenty of parking!!! So many cute spots for photo ops!!! There is so much hidden beauty in the place!!!

I want my money back I was unable to stay on that place. Expectation: In accordance with the pictures included on the Expedia website, the Hotel Perle D'or City Apartments is a comfortable, clean, and adequate place to stay. Additionally, I would like to mention that we were two persons, and according to the cleaner, due to restructuring, it was difficult to provide clean towels for more than one person on that day. I am writing to formally request a refund for my reservation at the Hotel Perle D'or City Apartments from June 6, 2025, to June 9, 2025. Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory, and I believe a refund is warranted due to the following issues: Misrepresentation: The hotel is listed on the Expedia website, but the images uploaded do not accurately reflect the current condition of the property. The hotel is in poor condition and urgently needs renovation. According to the manager, it will be closing at the end of the month due to the inability to sustain operations in such bad conditions. The hotel was not clean, and there were numerous items cluttering the space, with several areas broken or in disrepair. Health Concerns: I suffer from asthma, which includes inflammation of the airways. Given my condition, it is extremely difficult for me to stay in a place that is filthy and not well-maintained. During my short visit, I became ill and experienced significant difficulty breathing. Still sick at writing this feedback

I enjoyed my stay in this apartment. The price is good and you will be helped with whatever you need. I will recommend you USE WHATSAPP to communicate if the owner and she will do her best to help you. The local supermarket is very economical due to the pricing being for the locals and it’s literally a 8 minute walk to beach or tourist plaza.
