This place is an "undiscovered gem" along Route 1, beautiful and private, and perfectly positioned for travelers headed to Castine or Ellsworth, or farther downeast. RuthAnn and Mark were wonderful, welcoming hosts. We enjoyed spending three nights in our spacious ground-level apartment in a sunny patch in the Maine woods. Five Stars all the way! My wife and I would be pleased to stay here again.
