Disliked: Cleanliness
The house was “spot mopped”. Meaning it was NOT cleaned entirely upon our arrival. This was my 5th time staying at this resort and we have always loved it. This was my 3rd booking a Scandi resort property at Paradise Palms. If I stay here again, I will be sure it won’t be though Scandi. The property we was at, was not accessible through their main entrance. Security at check in couldn’t even tell us this. We had to leave main area and access our rental through a completely different entrance. First inconvenience of the trip. We get in, get settled, only to instantly began feeling under the weather. There was SO much dust that I had to wipe down almost every surface. That was the 2nd inconvenience. Here is the third. Then before going to bed, my 8 year old finds broken GLASS in the room she was going to sleep in. I’m talking shards in carpet and a piece that was at least 4 inches long and yes I have a picture. Instantly let management know and they “apologized”. Had my child stepped on it, would have been an ER visit and an end to a very expensive Disney trip. Fourth, there was visible water damage in the downstairs bathroom which was next to the bedroom my sister stayed in. I think it made her ill with allergy symptoms which definitely made for a grumpy personality the entire trip. I hardly every leave negative reviews but management dropped the ball on this one when I reached out to them about the glass.
