My favorite Disney resort- room was quiet clean comfortable and safe. convenience of an onsite laundry and the resort was beautiful, Aztec/Mexican theme. Dining options were amazing

The hotel okay with a lot of pros and cons. Casitas are far away. A lot of walking. Rix sports bar and cafeteria food was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful You must allow a lot of time for the bus It is a Disney Mid level property. The parks were amazing.

The experience was satisfactory. The staff at Lago and Dahlia enhanced the overall stay. However, the cabana rooms would benefit from being larger, as the space felt cramped. Hotel Drury rooms are more spacious than the room in Coronado Springs. The shuttle service to and from the park was excellent. Overall, the resort was good.

On the second day of my stay, my room suffered major water damage from a leak that came from the floor above. When I entered my room water was everywhere dripping from the ceiling. There was water on the TV, on my laptop, the bed, and on the floor. Also the rooms did not have complimentary water bottles that you would expect to get in most hotels. I was glad that I was compensated with a new room and $250.00 to charge to my room for free. However, this resort needs structural inspections, and updating.

When we checked in through the app, we were offered the option to choose between the main building, cabanas, etc. we were rushing to catch a flight and were not familiar with the differences, we did not select any option. We were assigned a Cabana room.After arriving, we realized that the Cabana location was not convenient for us. We went to the front desk to ask whether we could switch to a similar room in the main building. Since the app had originally offered us a choice, I assumed that, as long as there was availability, a switch should be fine. The front desk staff initially said they would help, but later told us that because the reservation was booked through a third party (Expedia), we would need to contact Expedia to make any room changes. This did not make sense to us. The reservation only shows a “standard room” and does not specify a Cabana room. Additionally, Disney’s app offered us the option to choose the room location, which suggests that the hotel should have the ability to adjust the room assignment. It also appeared that the staff were willing to help until they saw that the booking was made through Expedia. The interaction with two of the front desk staff members felt very cold. They did not explain the situation kindly, nor did they ask why we didn’t like Cabana room. We were also dissatisfied with the Cabana room itself. It felt more like a motel-style room, and there was no access to water. The vending machines didn’t work. Yes we tried a few!

I booked and paid for a Water View room through Expedia. At check-in, we were assigned to villas extremely far from the main resort area, which was not disclosed or clarified at the time of booking. Because of the distance and layout, we got lost daily trying to reach the main amenities, causing frustration and wasted time throughout our stay. I raised this issue at the front desk during check-out and was advised to contact Expedia since the reservation was made through them. Unfortunately, no compensation was offered, and the issue remained unresolved. Important note for future guests: “Water View” does not guarantee proximity to the main resort. I strongly recommend confirming the exact building/location before booking.
