Vacation hack! Skip the hotels and book a spacious house for a fraction of the price. Located just minutes from the parks in Orlando, enjoy the comforts of home while cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, relaxing in the spa or pool at the end of a long day, and having the kids entertain themselves in the game room while the adults unwind. Even better, take a day off to enjoy the grounds at Windsor Hills with its resort sized heated pool, splash pad, water slides, movie theater, and more!

Windsor Hills is the closest pool home vacation rental community to the Disney parks, located just 2.5 miles from Disney World's welcome gate. This superior location allows our guests to come back to the house midday to let the little ones nap or just to escape the crowds and recharge for a bit and then easily return to the parks later.

We purchased this home in June of 2022 and chose it because of the upgrades it already had and then took the opportunity to add upon those to further modernize the space. We redid the game room to include an 85" Roku TV with XBox, theater seating, and gaming chairs, as well as some classic arcade games like Golden Tee, The Simpsons, and Big Buck Hunter. We also added a 75" TV in the family room and ensured there are TVs in each of the bedrooms. The home decor is Disney-themed, but more subtle and refined than the heavily themed homes and showcases different artistic representations of the parks as well as engineered drawings of some of the notable architecture and rides.

Our pool and spa have been upgraded to a salt-water system, which is gentler on the skin and hair and provides our guests with more reliable swimming conditions. Heat for the pool can be provided for and extra $35 per day. The lanai is compete with a large table to enjoy meals pool-side as well as several chaise lounges and chairs to relax on. New pool lights set the mood for a fun and relaxing evening unwinding in the pool area as you watch them cycle through colors.

Finally, as parents to two young kids ourselves, we have the house equipped with plenty of gear to use with young kids: locks on the kitchen cabinets (easily turned on or off for your preference), a mini crib and Pack N Play, a high chair, booster seat, stroller, and even a play yard for those really little ones! We also have a variety of plastic plates, bowls, and cups for kids to use stress free as well as a collection of stuffed animals and baby toys to keep them busy.

Dogs are welcome - $100 per dog, max of two

Very convenient to the Disney parks and resorts and it Fit our price point and basic needs. No frills. This is obviously a house that sees a lot of renters. Could use a few upgrades, particularly the mattresses. Owner very responsive. Besides a surprise visit from a palmetto bug in the upstairs bath, all was fine. After all, it IS Florida!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Annie’s villa in Orlando! The house was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation.Annie was an incredible host. Her communication was excellent from start to finish. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, even helping us find an emergency dentist when we had an unexpected issue. AAU basketball tournament

We had 12 people that stayed in the home and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed Disney three days. Then we had a AAU tournament at ESPN. The location was great. We were only 3.3 miles from the tournament. And Walmart was right down the road. I suggest doing a pick up order at Walmart. Because it is like Black Friday shopping in there anytime you go. We would stay here again. And it was very easy to get a hold of the owner. She responded very fast to any question I had.

Spacious Hideaway

Great little hideaway in Windsor Hills!We loved the private heated pool, hot tub, grill, entertainment room, spacious bedrooms and all the little extras that were included with the rental. Annie was amazing and responsive for any needs!The only downside (which is also a plus) was since the property is pet friendly there was evidence of prior pet damage to the carpets. The main clubhouse pool was packed and the main pool/waterslides weren't as big of a hit with my kids as I had hoped (water slides are freezing) but this made us super thankful for the private pool at the house! We would definitely stay again and Annie is an A hostess!!

Family stay

The host was awesome. We had trouble registering but Annie was on top of it. We had issues trying to regulate the house temp, was too cold for us, Annie was great with communication. The house in general needs a huge overhaul in cleaning. The end tables in my room were all sticky. The house smelled of dog urine when we entered. The carpet had multiple stains. The mattress was a cheap one, not comfortable. The gas grill wasnt cleaned nor was there a brush to clean it. The house needs updating. Overall we still had a great time with my kids and grands. I appreciated the door to the pool had an alarm on it especially since we had 4 toddlers. Great peace of mind. The house was conveniently located to all attractions. I would go back if the house gets a good cleaning.

Great Communication / Great Community

What this property lacked, Annie made up for it with her impeccable communication (the absolute best host we’ve ever had). We’ve stayed at Windsor Hills quite a few times. We choose to go back time and time again in large part because of the community. This property had everything we needed for the kids which was really nice. There were kid dishes, bed rails, a monitor, gates, mini crib, pack ‘n play, stroller, toys, games, etc. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. There was a grill available (no extra charge) and the pool heat was included (no extra charge). It was a saltwater pool which was a plus, too. The game room served its purpose of providing entertainment during idle times and my kiddos learned how to play pool for the first time which was fun. It wasn’t the best I’ve seen at WH, def room to improve but it was honest and that was nice. A lot of times the games aren’t working, etc. There is no A/C in the game room (garage) which is something I look for when it’s warmer but it was fine for this visit because we were there in Feb. It sounds like they added some insulation so maybe it’s okay year round, too. My ONLY cons would be that the refrigerator was pretty beat up so it was hard to find a home for things and none of the freezer shelves worked. I think the pool probably should be resurfaced at some point. It was crumbling quite a bit. Lastly, the carpet in the properties at WH (that still have it) has seen better days.

Contemporary Disney Villa

Great house with very nice amenities. It was nice the pool heat was included in the price. Also, the solar cover is nice to have because it allows the pool and hot tub to keep warmer temperatures in the cooler weather. This house had everything we needed. Upon arrival on a Sunday, the a/c upstairs wasn’t working. We understand things break over time and our host, Annie, got right on it and had an HVAC technician out within a couple of hours that same Sunday evening. The HVAC technician put in a new thermostat and cool air was quickly flowing. A big thanks to Annie for taking care of this so quickly for us. That’s why she is a Super Host. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location for Disney!

Plenty of room for everyone. The kids and adults were able to make use the heated pool and hot tub in spite of the cool weather. The game room was a hit with everyone as well. Beautiful gated community with nice community amenities… very close to restaurants and shopping.

Plenty of space for 7 adults and 2 small children . We enjoyed the pool and amenities. Kitchen was equipped with more supplies than I had expected. Bedrooms and baths were nice. Couple of family members did not care for the firm mattresses but everyone has their preferences. The sliding glass door was troublesome as it became stuck often but overall it was a very nice home. We would stay their again

Home was beautiful and large, 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. Able to accommodate our family of 13. Had all the amenities including pool and hot tub. All you needed was a toothbrush. Great communication with the host, never a lag. We had a great time and would recommend this home. Had a hard time finding a home that would please us all.
