The neighborhood / area is not attractive and not the safest (as many locals told me). But it’s less than 20 minutes to Universal and less than 15 minutes to lovely restaurants, a day spa, hair salons, etc. It was definitely enjoyable relaxing in the backyard each night after an exhausting day at the theme parks and looking out at the lake. The fully-fenced backyard on the water was the entire reason we chose this house, and that did not disappoint!The house was very clean and looked like the pictures.However, it needs some attention. For example, the washer/dryer is small and subpar. The kitchen is not well-equipped (at least not compared to other VRBOS I’ve stayed in). We had to run out to buy tin foil, paper towels, etc. No Pyrex, a tiny travel size dish detergent, and a couple of dishwasher pods were all that was left. There was no shower mat in the master bathroom so we bought one. There are several towels but they are paper thin and cheap, so we bought towels as well. A few quality touches would make a huge difference. But the beds were comfortable, the property manager was communicative, the TV’s worked well, the backyard was very relaxing, and the house was clean. So overall, we enjoyed our stay!
