The bed was comfortable and housekeeping was very efficient and thorough when cleaning! The breakfast offered could have been better but it wasn't terrible. The hotel is old and shows it's age but I would stay there again.

The best parts about the hotel are the staff and the proximity to Universal Studios and HMart. The downsides unfortunately outweighed the good for us. BOTH ice makers (floors 2 & 4) were out the entire 4 day/3 night stay. The breakfast was exactly the same each day, with us having to microwave the sausage patties because the were not fully warmed thru. Make your own Waffles, cereal, bread, bagels, scrambled eggs and sausage patties everyday. No yogurt or oatmeal options, and the bananas go really fast. Coffee is pretty good. There is absolutely no place to sit outside anywhere in the hotel unless you go in the pool area. The rooms do have both a mini fridge that has a freezer and a microwave. Rooms were clean, great water pressure and the water gets hot. The hallway on the 3rd floor did have kind of a misty and stale smell. Overall this is a good hotel for a quick one night stay but we wouldn't stay for a multi night week again.
