Idyllic location if you face the sea and dont turn to your left!
-Clearly off-peak as a number of the facilities aren't available e.g. the roof-top bar. With those, I think the experience could be elevated, as the only open bar (which had to be used due to the changeable weather), is set back, without a view.
- Check-in was smooth and friendly - some work needs to be done on improving the ramp access/surfaces to make it easier to get to rooms with bags - I wasn't meant to be lifting anything as I was recuperating from surgery and ended up having to in a couple of spots due to the the surfaces not being level.
- The room was lovely, with a spectacular view and balcony (I recommend opting for a sea view room).
- Staff and service varied. Rooms aren't very sound-proofed. I could hear the shower chatting next door footsteps upstairs.
Only one restaurant- fairly basic. The lamb chops were trimmed well and the aubergine was delicious but the other veg didn't belong on the plate and were undercooked. Bread served with cheap margarine rather than olive oil.
- Option of freshly cooked eggs wasn't mentioned on the first day. Second day, ordered an omelette - it never arrived.
