The residence is the result of meticulous restoration work, breathing life into one of the town's historic structures. The property, a deconsecrated medieval church (dating back to around 1200), adapted to modern needs, preserves its aesthetic and architectural features through a lengthy renovation. You'll be pleasantly captivated by the charm of its wooden beams, the beauty of the entirely handcrafted masonry and wood kitchen, the view of one of the unique and rare internal gardens in the historic center, the tranquility it exudes, and not least, its incredibly central location – the perfect setting to savor an excellent glass of wine without a care in the world. 



Access from Via lattanzi, 27 is very easy, there is a wooden door that will lead you inside the stone path of Le Dimore di Borgo Tessile. After a few meters you will find on your left the access door to the building and after two flights of stairs you will be inside the wonderful Feronia apartment. Continuing instead to the entrance driveway on your right you will find a glass and wrought iron door that will give you access to the beautiful adjoining garden.

Orvieto, a city of ancient Etruscan roots, set on a cliff of tuff with sheer walls, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, is the ideal place for a holiday of peace and beauty in the green Umbrian hills. It also has a happy geographical location that will allow you to quickly enjoy the beauties of the great cities of art such as Rome, Florence, Siena, Perugia and small gems such as Città della Pieve, Chiusi, Montepulciano, Assisi and Bolsena. To mention the food and wine tradition of Orvieto that follows the typical characteristics of Umbrian cuisine with particular attention to recipes based on feathered game (such as pigeon, quail, partridge and turtle doves). Feronia, as well as the other Dimore di Borgo Tessile, is very close to the cathedral of Orvieto (200 mt), an architectural and cultural jewel of our beautiful country. Moving around the historic center requires a slow and steady pace, which will allow you to reach every corner of Orvieto in just a few minutes. The main means of transport are the "pollicini" (minibus), which go around the city, and the funicular that leads from Piazza Cahen (in the historic center, about 10 minutes walk from the apartment) to the railway station in Orvieto Scalo and the other way around. After a nice walk through the streets of the town you can't avoid to stop at one of the Corso's wine bars to sip an excellent local wine accompanied by typical excellences such as cold cuts, cheeses and much more. Upon request you will have access to an adjoining garden to relax and enjoy the myriad of colors given by the vastness of plants, flowers and trees present.
