Disappointing this stay.☹️

This is my 3rd time staying here over the years, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment this time. I was given a room in the Seasons Bay. This building is in need of dire repair in a lot of areas. I was told a fraternity/college kids were in this building for the same nights, but I was given a room as far away as possible. That was a lie, since they were in the rooms all around me. I was also told they had heightened security that weekend as well as quiet hours after 10pm, but I didn't notice any since both Fri & Sat night, I had to listen to loud college kids yelling & throwing beer bottles around until midnight or later. I get they want to have fun, but there is also respect for others, no matter what time of the day it is. My room had a funky musty smell that wouldn't go away, so that was a let down. The TV had pictures issues, white dots on the screen & needs replaced. Carpet had some pink goo or something on it. Room in general, needed some attention as well for various things. There was no fridge or microwave in the room, which surprised me & kind of a let down. Shower was the worst. Pressure sucked, and that could be from the old shower head. Biggest issue was getting scalded when taking a shower, the whole stay. Set the temp of the water & next thing ya know, the water was scalding hot, like the cold water disappeared. Adjust to get warm again & no more than start soaping up or rinsing off & water turns scalding again. Very disappointed in this stay....

Was not in main building, the room was very dated. Didn't even have a chair to sit in other than desk chair. Lighting was minimal. did not have housekeeping for the entire 3 day stay and was not asked if would like or not like housekeeping. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Resort fee but no services were open. Service was abysmal at the restaurant.

Worst place ever to stay.

The hotel was so dirty, the was dead spiders on the floor, mold in the shower, no hot water. There was some party going on and everyone was yelling, running in the building and that’s all you could hear. Air wouldn’t go any lower than 68, and the AC made banging sounds. Worst place ever to stay

NOT a good place to stay!

We thought we were going away for a quieter weekend away before summer comes. That was NOT the case! The property is nice until you go in your room, very outdated. There were teenagers/young adults partying in a bunch of the rooms on the 3rd floor. They were all over the place with their balconies open with loud music, yelling, running around with drinks in their hands. Went to go to the pool and there were towels all over, cans of alcohol all over and the water was cold. This was my 1st and last time at this location. I get having a good time since you are at a lake property but this was pretty extreme. If it was like this in April, I can’t imagine how it will be in the summer. No thank you!!

This was an ok property but the lady at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. No one was at the front desk when I walked in, waited for a bit then I had to look for the front desk lady and when I finally found her she looked at me and said “I’m on the phone!” Like i was such a bother for coming in. Poor customer service!

Old, musty building. Electricity was out when we got there although weather was perfect. Check-in was slow & lady was downright ignorant. She made a nasty comment when I gave her my ID & was just rude. (I am as they say “foreign looking”) Wouldnt stay here again. The lake was the only thing that made it worth it.

The lodge felt like a step back in time (60’s), which was cool, but it was very evident that the hotel was in need of a lot repairs. To start they need a room key system that works, cards quit working several times. Had to work with the door (to room) to get it to close. Bathtub had a number of broken tiles & discolored grout, faucets leaked, everything wooded needed to be repaired & painted and outlets needed be replaced. They also need to be able to provide hot water to all rooms. We were told to run the water for about 15 minutes because it takes longer to get to that end of the hotel. The potential is there, just needs a lot of work.

accommodations seemed small for the price, considering most of the restaurants were still closed for the season on site the cable and Internet Wi-Fi we’re having problems in the atrium building one of the conference rooms also seemed to have the air conditioner stuck on cool mode two mornings in a row and the carpet on the floors in several areas had giant wrinkles sticking up in them. This all aside the staff was excellent and very helpful and the food that they did have was very good.

We got a garden room and when we got to our room we find out our fireplace in the room odd broken and then didn't say anything about it. When I called the front to ask about it. They knew about it and said it needs a now part. Never offered to give up a room with working fireplace or anything. Then after we are ready to lay down and watch some time and our tv was broken also. When I called front counter to ask about tv then knew about the tv also and once again didn't say anything at check in. The employee said she would talk to her manager and she would get back to me and never did.

The Lodge of Four Seasons is in a great location and near the lake. The staff is amazing especially Lennie at HKs Bar. The Lodge has so much potential but in dire need of updating. Our room had an amazing view of the lake but the room itself was weathered, bed squeaky and battered furniture.
