Nice hotel with room to improve. The rooms are small but efficient, comfortable beds and those on the river side offer great city views. A second pillow would be beneficial especially since the one provided is small and flattens. A privacy screen in the shower that looks into the room is greatly needed. It would be better to provide individual slippers as opposed to communal slippers that have been worn by previous guests.
The onsen bath is lovely. Better and well placed signage on the rules and expectations would help compliance. I saw guests enter the bath, sauna and steam room directly from the change room without having taken any shower let alone a thorough head to toe scrub and wash down.
Breakfast buffet logistics need thought/planning from someone experienced and competent in hotel/resort buffets. The area where the food and beverages are laid out is overall way too small for the size of hotel. There is no natural direction or order so guests end up forming 2 lines in opposite directions for the same station. The space between the aisles is too narrow for the number of guests especially if they are carrying the large trays provided. The tongs and spoons provided at the salad bar and yogurt topping station slow down the process greatly as they are ineffective choices for the task.
The guest facing staff are largely international and they are well meaning and try hard. But language and communication skills are lacking, not just with guests but also with each other.

Terrible
The hotel room was tiny and extremely uncomfortable.
The restaurant manager called Salita was super rude, she was basically shouting at us at the table.
The executive lounge was only open for 5 hours and not much to offer.
There was no bellboy
The hotel was too far to the touristic centre (Namba). There was nothing around.
Rude staff member on reception ruined this trip for me.
Very sarcastic and quite confrontational.
Shame for the other staff as they was helpful.
Only other down falls were no bell service so had multiple cases with no help.
Had to take 2 trolleys of cases to the room myself and they was left outside the room for 3 days.
Would stay here again just for outdoor bath on the 31st floor, let alone the sauna and indoor baths with great views. Buffet dinner was fantastic and service was great.
This hotel was lovely, had everything i needed within walking distance. Rooms were surprisingly spacious and have a hot water kettle for coffee or tea. The onsen on the rooftop was really the highlight, don't miss it. The restaurant was just OK, there are plenty of better options just around the block.
One word: Exceptional
This hotel will not disappoint. 5 star hotel without the price tag.
I wish I can go back as I am writing this. It was my first time in Osaka and I was searching for a nice hotel. I usually like to search for budget friendly hotels while having it more on the "bougie" side. This hotel was such a surprise and I am so glad we booked it.
We stayed here for 5 nights in a twin room and it was beautifully designed. We paid about $160 a night in February 2025. You get the 5 star hotel feel without having to pay an arm and a leg. The lobby is located on the 17th floor and it has beautiful chandeliers hanging with a huge seating area. There is a buffet there as well.
The rooms were spacious and the toilet is separated from the shower room which is excellent for a two or more people. The twin bed room we got put two twins together so you can create one huge bed if you'd like. I have no complaints about this hotel.
I wish I had time to visit the SKYSPA on the top floor but we were so busy during our trip. My friends stayed here before us and they recommended the SKYSPA.
Everything was walking distance and right when you exit the hotel, there is a Family Mart nearby for some quick goodies and restaurants all along the streets.
We also used the Airport Limo Bus to transport us to and our luggages to Osaka KIX Airport. It was only $12 USD for one person and you were allowed 2 check in luggages each.
I will definitely be staying here again on my next Osaka Trip!
This was our 3rd hotel of our trip round Japan, and was the most expensive out of the 3. That being said the room wasn’t clean (visible dust in and around bedframe). The room size is very narrow for example the bed frame is literally next to the shower so you’re unable to use one side of the bed. The staff were friendly but weren’t as welcoming and attentive as others.
We didn’t eat or drink at the hotel as it’s extremely expensive, and there are plenty of options just a shop walk.
Not far from train stations, family mart and Lawson is just a couple of steps away. Behind the building are a bunch a streets with a bunch of izakaya’s and restaurants. Very nice area for a couple to spend time.
The entire building and facility was beautiful. The room we had was perfect. We enjoyed spending our nights or mornings in the spa upstairs. The public bath with a very hot onsen as well as warm and cold. Sauna room, robe and filtered water is provided. I preferred showering in the spa instead of my room because the soap was also better than the rooms. They also do Yamato pick up and drop off which was really convenient. I would def book back with Candeo hotels.
Incredible staff - we're really helpful sorting issues we had from the previous hotel. We had an in room massage which was a great treat. Great facilities. Beautiful hotel with lovely onsens. Highly recommend and would deffo stay again
A new 5 star hotel 17 floors in the sky above Osaka with fabulous views. A real treat!

Very trendy and shiny. The outdoor bath has incredible views but would be better if towels were provided there.
The restaurant wasn't open in the evenings, one of the reasons why we chose to stay, and no one told us it was closed until we asked to book.
When we asked for recommendations for an evening meal we were pointed in the direction of smoky underground bars. Next day, we found a number of very classy places for a special meal that were very close.
Potential to be brilliant but they need to look more closely at customer service and bother to care.
