We were disappointed in our stay at this hotel. The room condition was not very clean. The carpet had stains on it. When we went to breakfast there were several food items to at were out, however the staff replenished them after we asked. I would not stay here again.

Hotel and staff are wonderful. Excellent space in a family room for two adults and two children. Washer/dryer combo in the room as well as an eat in kitchenette. Area felt a bit unsafe as there were many clubs/bars/adult stores surrounding the hotel. All that relative to being in Japan. If it were NYC the area would be considered fine.

Great hotel

Location was good, about 5-10 mins walk to Namba station. The lounge on the 9th floor also had free Starbucks coffee, soft drinks, and beer. Also had a dolce machine and drinking water in the room. Would have been perfect if the cleaners wiped the dust that accumulated in our room during our 6 days stay. They did not wash the cups and utensils (did it ourselves) and we saw old receipts and discarded toy capsules when we checked in.

Great option for a short stay in Osaka

The hotel is in a great location, very close to a train station and walking distance to attractions and restaurants. The room was as described, staff were very helpful and lovely to have free drinks (tea, coffee, soft drinks) in reception.

We stayed in a triple room at Hotel Keihan Namba Grande—two adults and two kids (ages 14 and 5)—and the space was more than adequate for our needs. Like many hotels in Japan, it got a bit tight with suitcases open, but the high beds were a smart touch, letting us store bags underneath once we got settled. Check-in is via self-service kiosks, which didn’t quite work for us, but the staff stepped in right away and were extremely kind and helpful. Throughout our stay, the staff was accommodating and friendly. The hotel has some great extras. The laundry room (600 yen per load) uses a combo washer-dryer unit, and you may need to add coins for extra drying time. One of our favorite features, though, was the drink station—coffee, soft drinks, and even a beer tap and Starbucks machine. The adults appreciated the coffee and beer, while the kids loved the free soda. The property and rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel is in a quieter area but still within walking distance to Dotonbori and train station. It’s right next to a park/mall-like area with shops, and there are sushi and ramen spots just outside the entrance—plus a Lawson for anything else you need. Overall, a fantastic stay that hit all the marks: convenience, comfort, and a few thoughtful surprises that made it stand out.
