Convenient location, bathroom outdated

We stayed for 4 nights in January at Hotel Nikko and it was very convenient to a lot of shopping which was very nice! The room was clean, however our bathroom was a bit outdated compared to other rooms that were on different floors. Our shower would randomly spit out burning hot water during the middle of the shower but turning the temperature lower would mean colder water. The shower head also wouldn’t stay in place when the water was at the highest pressure. Additionally, since it was winter there was only heating, however there was no way to open windows and it always made the room extremely stuffy.

The hotel is conveniently located over a subway line, and within walking distance of Dotonbori. The room was spacious, with plenty of space for our party of three. The bathroom was large and had a great shower while the furnishings were appropriately modern and functional. Our room had a great view looking east across the city. Breakfast was plentiful and had more than enough offerings. The staff was proficient, attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Nikko and would come back on other trip to Osaka.

Room is spacious. There are a lot of restaurants you can choose from as well. When you go out of the hotel, all shops are walkable. I will definitely stay again in this hotel.
