Check was good, but the reception personnel English is very very poor. The majority of guests that I saw at checkin were all English speakers, so how does they deal with these guests? It’s very bad for us if we cannot understand what they are saying, specially at a hotel like this. Room service had better English and the service was prompt. Concierge at check out was awful. The manager and staff were just standing and chatting while the guests are waiting to be helped. When I called for luggage to be collected no one came, so I went down myself to get them to collect my luggage. Then I had to ask many times for help to get a taxi to the airport. This is very poor service. On arrival I was also very disappointed that no one was at the door and I had to go inside to get someone to help the help the taxi driver and take the luggage.

館内全体と客室備品はメンテナンスが行き届いていて感銘を受けました。 対してスタッフのサービスは期待はずれ。マニュアル通りの事務的な接客で、その域をはみ出さないようにしている印象を受けました。特にレストランの黒いスーツを着た男性は小慣れた感じの接客でプロ意識を感じませんでした。 ルームサービスもメニューに記載通りにペスカトーレと注文したのにシーフードパスタですね、と言い直されました。 値段に見合わないサービスです。

We loved our stay at the Imperial Hotel. The shuttle bus runs to Osaka station and back every 20 minutes which was super convenient. The pool, gym and sauna facilities were insanely priced at 5500 yen per use but we didn’t book for this reason so we weren’t phased. Would definitely stay again!

A 5 star experience. If you’re use to tiny rooms in Tokyo this room in Osaka will impress. Had a top 5 meal of my life in Kaman on the 24th floor

The staff of Imperial Hotel Osaka are welcoming and offer excellent service. The room I stayed in was a smoking room - but it didn’t smell like it. The room was immaculate. The bathroom is large with great lighting. I didn’t use the restaurants on property but they do have 24hr service if needed. Konnbinis are nearby! Lawson seems the closest…but 7-11 is near by too. I like that the hotel is a short ten minute walk away from a train station. If you want to go to Dotonbori, there will be a further walk to a different train station. The hotel is a couple blocks away from Tenbashi shopping street.

100% will stay again.

I had an amazing stay at the Imperial Hotel in Osaka. From the moment I enter the hotel, I am greeted by several the members of the staff, who are always to eager to attend to your every need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and luxurious. The restaurants offer a fantastic array of foods. A complimentary shuttle can transport you to Osaka Station. Even though I mainly visited to see the sights of the city, I was tempted to stay in my hotel room to just simply enjoy the accommodations. I do plan on visiting Osaka again in the future, and will absolutely stay here again.

Loved this property!

The hotel, the staff and location are top tier. We loved our stay here, which had a buffet breakfast, a connected Family Mart and a river walk with stunning grounds. The staff was 10/10 with friendliness and eager to help.

Quality Hotel in Osaka. A bit dated, but still excellent. Excellent service. Good sized rooms. Access to a decent, large, swimming pool for about 2,200 Yen. Nice area by the river. A couple of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, with many walkable in about 15 minutes over the bridge. (Also a further 3 in the hotel, although we didn't try those). We were staying in another hotel in Osaka which was a dump and we relocated here. Despite losing a couple of nights already paid for in the other hotel, I don't regret the decision to move for a second.
