Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. Clean room, well appointed, comfy bed, with a great river view! I asked for a high floor and it came with long access. I would have liked to bring coffee from lounge to my room but was not permitted. The staff was very confused about sending my bag to the airport. It took several staff to figure it out, which took longer than it should have. They felt badly about it. GREAT experience at the restaurant for dinner on my last night! Authentic, great staff, food was so special and the chef was friendly and quite entertaining! Thank goodness for Google Translate!

A very best hotel

This was our second time staying at a Mitsui hotel. This location is extremely good: new clean and the room is very well designed. On the opt of it the hotel provides a shuttle bus to the Osaka Station and a public path on the top floor. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and will stay at it if we visit Osaka again.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and usually, they are great. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Hotel itself is clean and nice. Transportation to umeda is convenient; they have shuttle bus every 20 minute ish with time table posted. Everything is usually on point except during my last visit, room smelled pretty bad. I asked the room to be switched and they accommodated to my request. So thank you.

Enjoyed a great stay, everywhere immaculately clean, fabulous experience in the onsen. Staff were attentive and very helpful especially Sato on reception desk. Breakfast has good choices, bed was comfortable and shower in room was terrific. Our only little grumble is the fact the lounge on top floor cannot be used unless you stay on one of the upper floors . Whilst that may be advertised it is not very clear, we would have been happy to pay for drinks etc to gain entry and experience the view.

Disappointing

The location was excellent and had a lovely view from the room. Decent sized room but room was dirty- splashes of something brown on the walls. Breakfast was a bit of a hassle as we had to queue until a table became free, both days. But the worst thing was the concierge telling our taxi driver the wrong airport location when he picked us up- a 13 min ride turned into a 45 min ride in the opposite direction. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Nice hotel, good value and service

Try nice hotel in a business area. Great onsen and nice rooms. Only two coin operated laundry machines, which wasn’t enough as they were impossible to find free. Also, air conditioning was very difficult to get right, and their “eco friendly” cleaning service also means, interestingly, that they don’t even make your bed. Good breakfast annd a good value overall. A very nice hotel.

Excellent

The Mitsui hotel chain is amazing . All of their locations are great. You're getting a Four seasons hotel experience (Staff, Venue, Locations) at a fraction of the price . This particular location was centrally located with access to anywhere in the city . Rooms, Bedding and mattress were all 10/10 as well as the ONSEN (which is great after exploring the city all day. I'd recommend this hotel and I cannot wait until my return next year.
