We really enjoyed staying at The Gala Hotel Umeda. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk, and very helpful. Our room was excellent. It was very functional, had a lot of hangers, even a washer & dryer! We did not hear anything from next rooms. It was very quiet!

I stayed in Room 805. Amazing room. Spacious and it had a washing machine/dryer! Liquid gold for a traveller. Water pressure in the shower was AMAZING! Breakfast was good, small selection but good. Only complaint is the beds were sooooo hard. Staff helpful. Location excellent.

Party central

The greatest thing about Japan and Osaka is how friendly everyone is. If you like a more laid back experience, Osaka is the ticket. Its like a frat party, but city wide.

All the comforts and amenities of a business hotel with some upgraded design features. There’s no bar/cafe on premise, as was indicated on the website, but the continental breakfast and coffee were good. The staff was welcoming and professional.

Place near the metro and is quiet. Suitable for those who enjoy such a peaceful area. Room however is kinda small but is to be expected. Breakfast was simple and is prepared. Not buffet style. Place is new and staff was helpful. Recommended

A newly renovated and opened hotel with decent size hotel rooms. The setup in the room is very functional (e.g. enough space to open large suitcase and functional desk and chair that have enough space). Have all the amenities that one would expect and need in a hotel room. Located one subway stop away from Umeda shopping district within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood which I prefer. Have a mini AEON store across the street and a few restaurants and a drug mart so it’s convenient to buy necessities when needed. Five minutes walk to the subway station. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The mattress i had was a bit stiff and hard for my liking but i was able to sleep well regardless. The location is great too, only one stop away from Umeda station and not too far from Shin-Osaka either. Would gladly stay again.
