At check in, we did not receive the room we booked as the facility did not do an uodate through Expedia. Hotel staff did not contact us during the week between booking and arrival to give us any options. We ended up having to be split into 2 rooms. The rooms were good but tge pool area was dirty and out of towels.

New favourite in Durham region

Staff were great. Accommodated us for a birthday celebration, early check in to decorate. Room was clean and quiet. We had a wonderful time.

Pool and hot tub could have been cleaner you could visibly sees floating stuff in the pool and hot tub. They also don’t offer allergy friendly breakfast food options which was disappointing. I have young kids and wasn’t happy to see behind things and under things wasn’t being cleaned appropriately in the room we had.

Spacious rooms. Pool is smaller than it looked in the photos, though is perfect for kids. Very limited poolside seating. Rooms have full size oven, dishwasher and a generous sized fridge and a microwave. We live local (Durham) and know the area. It is convenient for public transportation or driving being right off the 401. Whitby Centrum is close by which has a number of amenities (movies, Playdium, indoor mini putt, lazer tag, restaurants etc). Staff have all been very kind and friendly.
