Cycle over to the family-friendly Havslättsbadet bathing area and enjoy a day at the beach. Take a day trip to Öland on the ferry from Oskarshamn. The Ostkustleden offers beautiful hiking trails. Stensjö by is the first cultural reserve in the province of Kalmar and is definitely worth a visit. The village has a café and a circular hiking trail that takes you through beautiful natural areas.
