Just a 2-minute stroll from Tsugaike ski resort, this is the perfect base for your winter escape. With 3 comfortable double bedrooms (1 king, 2 flexible as kings or singles), this warm and inviting chalet sleeps up to six guests. Stunning winter views of the Northern Japanese Alps, with clear sights stretching down the Hakuba Valley. Whether you’re here for first tracks in the morning or relaxing evenings with friends and family, you’ll love the combination of alpine charm and modern comfort.

The space
With underfloor heating throughout the first floor of the chalet, the whole house is heated with a beautiful ambient warmth. There are optional heaters in each bedroom and the fireplace is also a lovely optional addition if you feel like adding to the coziness.

The driveway is also heated which is a bonus on a snow day as there is minimal need for snow clearing after a big dump.

Guest access
It is recommended for guests to have a vehicle with 4wd and studless winter tires.

Guests staying without a vehicle will find it super easy to get skiing every day, with the ski piste at Tsugaike Ski Resort just 200m from the door. Restaurants are a minimum of 15 minutes walk from the house, and it's down a big hill, so a good idea to plan a way back to the house at the end of the outing. There are restaurants in the area that will provide a shuttle to guests who make a reservation, so this shouldn't be too hard to organise.

At the beginning and end of your stay we are happy to offer a free shuttle from/to one of the stations in Hakuba, or from the bus stop in Tsugaike (the closest option). Please contact us in advance to arrange it. A last minute shuttle may not be possible.

This chalet offers its guests laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
