I originally started out disappointed with this hotel. We arrived for check in at the same time as another family and no one was at the front desk. I observed it unmanned several times over the weekend so I assume only one person works that desk at a time and must need to attend to other stuff. Our stay got better though. The room was clean and spacious. The thermostat worked and allowed us to turn up the heat when we needed to. The breakfast was pretty good. Many options and the breakfast staff kept everything well stocked. If we need to be in Ottawa for anything again, I would stay here again.
