Easy excellent check in and out!! Reception and lobby very clean. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful!! Room was exceptional!! Quite large! Loved the mini kitchen facilities!! Bathroom lovely and clean and upgraded! Bathroom products were very nice! Included buffet breakfast was wonderful!! There was (hot): eggs, bacon, hash-browns, pancakes, oatmeal, and (cold) 4 kinds of cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs. Plus flavored muffins, bread- English muffins- bagels for toasting, or croissants. And of course all the fixings. Peanut butter, jam, syrup, butter, etc. Orange & apple juice. Coffee, various teas, hot chocolate, fresh milk 2% and skim, and half n half cream!!!!! Of course we will ALWAYS stay here whenever we need to come to Ottawa!!!

I really like this hotel, it’s my go to when travelling to Ottawa. However the last couple of time my rooms has not been cleaned properly. On first glance things are fine, but things hairs in shower and in shower drain, cover ontop of the blanket had stain on it, floor had hairs and some clothing tag plastics… I really love this hotel, staff and facilities are great but there needs to be more attention paid to cleanliness inside the rooms between guests as this is very off putting.

We appreciate this hotel for longer stays. This time we stayed for a week. I called the hotel to let them know we were arriving around 6pm, and to ask them to change the room that was indicated on my Hilton Honors app because it was an accessible room and I had not reserved one. The front desk person named Patrick, was not welcoming and said the hotel was fully booked and very abrupt when he said that we had to take that room or we would have to cancel the reservation. He said it was because hotels.com overbooked their hotel. I told him I had booked over a month ago and was disappointed in his response. I didn’t check-in at the front desk and instead used my digital key. The hotel is very clean and moderately comfortable. The rooms could use new King beds as many we have used in our previous stays and in this stay, sagged in the middle. The sofa is also a little uncomfortable. But we really enjoy the kitchen and the hotel in general and the staff are usually very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast room is clean, airy and bright and the staff keep it stocked and tidy. There is a nice pool that we have used occasionally. It is very well located near many shopping amenities and activities and the Canadian Tire Centre. All in all, lI would recommend this hotel!
