The Bay Crib is a perfect little paradise for couples, solo travelers, remote workers or a friends getaway. Located in picturesque Constance Bay, Ontario.
45 min drive to Ottawa downtown and a 25 min drive to Kanata including the Canadian Tire Centre.
We are surrounded by sandy beaches along the Ottawa River with a beautiful view of the Gatineau Hills. Ideal spot to watch the sun rising and setting. You may even spot the Northern Lights during certain times of the year.
Our property backs onto the Torbolton Forest, the heart of Constance Bay. Home to a variety of plants, birds, wildlife including skunks, porcupines, foxes, deer's and the occasional bear. It offers easily accessible trails for hiking, biking or walking your dog. In the winter month the forest offers cross country skiing, snow shoeing and snowmobiling. Part of the forest makes room for the OFSC maintained snowmobile trails.
We are located a 5 min. walk away from the public beach entrance. Perfect for kayaking, canoeing and swimming. Constance Bay has three main public beaches. The Point beach, Auger's beach and Wicken's beach. A public boat launch is available 3 km further down the street. In the winter month the beaches are homes to ice fishing sheds, skating and a fishing derby the end of February/March (the official date has not been posted yet)

Constance Bay offers a Convenience Store with LCBO/Beer store outlet, Legion Branch 616, a Pharmacy and soon to open Dentist.

The Bay Crib is a bright, 525 sq feet, clean, cozy basement apartment with a private side entrance and backyard. The whole left side of the house is for your use only. Enjoy an evening on the patio or sitting by the fire to relax and rewind.
There is a flight of 8 steps protected by a shelter to go down to The Bay Crib. You check yourself in with a keyless entrance.
The full kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, bowls and baking sheets. Ready for a home cooked meal.
Dinning table with two chairs. You will find additional 2 chairs in the storage/closet beside the kitchen.
The sofa bed in the living room provides extra sleeping space if needed.
50" smart TV with Netflix. Books, magazines and games for your entertainment. Records and record player to go back in time.
Reliable Bell Fibre Internet.
The bedroom with a king size bed and a lit closet to hang and store your clothes. Also in the closet an iron and iron board.
The bathroom has a walk in shower and a stackable washer/dryer. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets for your use.
The Bay Crib has a mechanical sewage pump installed in the bathroom. The guest book has more information about it if needed.
Window shutters in every room for extra privacy.
We are heating with natural gas. Your space has additional thermostat controlled space heaters in every room for your own comfort.
Central air condition in the summer month.
Our 16x32 inground pool will be open from June-September (weather permitting). There is NO lifeguard on duty. We will give you the code for the pool gate after signing a Use At Your Own Risk waiver.

As a guest of this apartment, you'll find an outdoor pool, a garden, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
