We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at The Swiss Hotel. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable. It was a smaller room, but perfect for my husband and I. The location is convenient, as it is right off Rideau St. The area can be a little rough, but the immediate area around the hotel was clean and felt safe at all hours of the day. We also loved the Nespresso machine. Great stay, and the owner and her son was the sweetest! So friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for your next stay in Ottawa :)

Clean and well-appointed rooms, excellent/central location (within walking distance of the ByWard Market, restaurants, museums, etc.), and the owner was exceptionally helpful in supporting our needs. Great experience. Really nice owner, room aid, and the room was spotless. Great historic building with a unique feel. Also really appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine. Perfect. Clean, contemporary, peaceful, quiet, safe and comfortable. The coffee is incredible! The owner is an absolute sweetheart and entertaining to chat with, and the communal space is inviting, relaxing and lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend sipping a coffee in one of the big red chairs. You won’t regret it.
