House Rules:
Please help us keep The Commissioner peaceful and guest-ready for everyone:

Quiet Hours: 10 p.m. – 7 a.m.
No parties, tents, or large gatherings
No smoking indoors or on the property ($500 fine)

Pet Policy:
We welcome one well-behaved dog (75lb max). A $100 non-refundable pet fee applies. Pets must be leashed when outdoors and crated when left unattended. Ignoring the pet policy may result in a $300 fine.

This 19th-century engineering marvel connected Lake Michigan to the Illinois River, changing trade, travel, and life across the Midwest. Today, you can explore that history from the comfort of this modern hideaway.
