I understand the hotel has come under new management in the past year. The building seems to have had some interior painting done. Staff are quite friendly, although a manager (?) told me no maps of the town were available any more (they were there last year, at Reception) because the law had changed - utter nonsense. Also, Room 29 needs serious attention. There is a large hole at the side of the bathtub, and the shower fixing has detached itself from the wall! The hotel remains a relatively cheap and convenient stopover.

Nice traditional French feel

Pros: Very nice staff, willing to help. A proper French atmosphere, with scenic downstairs dining area, and good parking facilities. Good for D-Day beaches
Cons: Bathroom needs updating. Could benefit from tea-making facilities, more soap, and removal of complicated loo-roll machines
Location: Very hard to find, unfortunately, as are most places in Ouistreham, because of the layout of the docks.
Generally positive - but could benefit from some minor improvements

Friendly hotel and a perfect location

Pros: The location, the friendly staff, the breakfast, the fact that it was individual and charming
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom would have been nice
A small hotel with a lovely 'French' feel. Perfect location for the wonderful beach, local restaurants, and the small town of Ouisterham. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean, the breakfast excellent, and the bedroom comfortable. The hotel has a car park and a pleasant garden. Across the road is a D-day museum where we found out so much history about the town - and about the hotel itself. A perfect location for exploring the local area.

Netter Empfang, gutes Frühstück. Kein Lift, war für uns aber kein Problem. Sehr schöne Villa, sanft renoviert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
