Unfortunately, our stay at this property was extremely uncomfortable and unsafe due to significant maintenance issuesThe home is in serious disrepair and was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. There were no functioning smoke detectors, which is a major safety concern. An unstable chair collapsed while my 88-year-old mother was sitting in it, and much of the furniture felt unsafe. Several bathtubs were unusable, the upstairs shower leaked heavily into the floor below, and the dishwasher was not secured to the counter. We also encountered cleanliness issues, including hair in the tubs, a dirty microwave, debris at the entry, and general deferred maintenance throughout the home. The host also made inaccurate claims about children violating house rules, despite the listing explicitly including a baby and toddler section, and attempted to intimidate us by threatening a negative guest review.Given the safety hazards, cleanliness issues, and attempts to bypass Vrbo policies, we cannot recommend this property. Future guests—especially families or elderly travelers—should be aware of these conditions before booking.
