We love Canalta properties. Not only are they convenient, well maintained and have great amenities but their staff is second to none. The small centre hospitality is the star of the show.

Excellent stop to break up a long road trip. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast with a lot of selection. There are not many hotels in the world where you can wake up and look over a beautiful green crop in its summer glory. A special stay.

Great short stay.

I have driven past this hotel many times and finally had a chance to stop in for a quick overnight stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent.

I love this hotel. If you’re travelling east from Calgary or the mountains, it comes after a long stretch of rolling Alberta hills and seems to pop up out of nowhere at the Oyen junction. It’s always super clean, the rooms are spacious and clean, the linens are crisp and fresh, and the pillows are awesome. They advertise a continental breakfast, but it’s actually a full breakfast in a small buffet set up. They even have a waffle maker and a choice of toppings. If the bacon were a little bit, thicker, I’d be raving about the breakfast, but it sure is nice to have a hot meal in the morning before you take off down the road. I’ll be finding excuses to stay here as often as possible in the future.

Canalta's are my new favourite chain. The properties are always convenient and there's plenty of parking. The staff are professional and courteous. The beds are excellent. No old dippy mattresses. Linens are fresh and crisp. Rooms are spacious and not worn out. Had a great stay near my home town.
