Room was clean and bed was comfortable. There was an odd smell in the room. Stale smoke maybe? Musty? No elevator to the second floor rooms.

I didn't like that the shower/tub and toilet weren't cleaned during our four night stay, there were no tissues in the holder on the wall, and there was a noisy dog next door. Even though it was inexpensive, I expected a bit more.

The first room they put us in the television did not work so they moved us to another room. That room that bed sheets smelled like smoke and when we went to put our Waters in the refrigerator there was a half eaten old burrito in there. There was noise up and down the hall all night. When I checked out I told the man at the desk and he just said thank you for letting us know but did not offer any type of compensation.

Stayed here while passing through the area. Just needed a place that was reasonably priced since we were not here but for the night. Hotel is close to restaurants and the interstate. Room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Will stay here again if passing through.

The room smelled very very badly of smoke The room also had dirty towels left in the drawers with vomit on them We let the front desk know immediately and all they provided was to take the dirty towel out of the drawer for us No offer of a discount or room change for the horrible smoke smell. Just said sometimes people break the smoke alarm so they can smoke in the room

It was a lovely motel and worth every penny of its reasonable rate. We really liked that there were luggage carts to help when we ere loading up to get on the road! The location was very central to good food, shopping and a great downtown with the National Quilt Museum, Museum on waterways, and great old architecture. There is a funky intersection before getting to the Mustang Inn: just go with the flow -- no explaining the weird way they designed it!

Glad I trusted other reviews.

There were positives and not to bad negatives. Positives: room was large and remodeled, smelled clean and the carpet felt clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows, the ac worked great and the furniture was in good condition. The room was quiet even though it was directly across from the ice machine and common entrance door upstairs. Negatives: (And this is just me being picky.) The rooms have been remodeled but outer walk up hallway smelled badly - could use a deep cleaning. The toilet seat was clean but up under the rim needed a good scrubbing with a pumice stone. There was no coffee or tea in the room. So for less than half the price of the other hotels in the area it was great. I would stay again.

This was a frightening realization of the reality of health code inspection as the Mustang Inn was granted an A. However, we tried 4 different rooms only to find mold in 3 of them and one which had previously smelled of cigarette smoke. The staff attempted to accommodate us by trying different rooms only to realize the same problem, the air conditioning unit had been leaking inside of the room. My wife is a severe asthmatic and can’t tolerate mold related water damaged buildings. We began to look for what would cause it and discovered the same issue around the air conditioning unit.

No frills, but excellent place to stay!

Clean and comfortable. No frills, but just a good place to stop for the night. Easy access to the interstate. No breakfast at the inn, but for the price, you can easily afford to eat elsewhere, and there are numerous options nearby. We will definitely be staying there again.
