Rural House "La Barraca de Farena" Near the Beach in Palafrugell

Nestled in the heart of the Costa Brava, La Barraca de Farena is a charming country cottage surrounded by nature. Located just 1 km from Palafrugell and 1.5 km from the idyllic beaches of Llafranc, Calella, and Tamariu, it offers a private garden of 8,500 m² (with 4,000 m² fully fenced)—the perfect spot to unwind, relax in the hammock, or enjoy the sunset. Open year-round, it accommodates up to 4 guests and 2 pets (for an extra fee). For community reasons, the house is not rented to guests under 25 and parties are not allowed.



The 60 m² house (plus a 15 m² porch) features a kitchen-dining area with full cookware, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. The bathroom has a shower with screen, washing machine, iron, and hairdryer. The bedroom offers a comfortable queen-size bed (cribs and high chairs available on request). The living room includes a double sofa bed, TV, DVD, high-speed Wi-Fi, pellet stove, fireplace, and ceiling fans throughout. Free private parking is available.



Outdoors, you’ll find garden furniture, sun loungers, outdoor shower, and a storage room for up to 2 bicycles or for bike rental (for an extra fee) to reach the beaches via local trails. Enjoy water sports like diving, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming. Don’t miss the Sunday market in Palafrugell for fresh produce. Stroll the old town, visit Sant Martí church, Plaça Nova, or the historic Centre Fraternal. Nearby, discover dog-friendly beaches, the Cork Museum, or the Vila Casas Contemporary Sculpture Museum. Pros: Der Garten war gut eingezäunt ideal für Hunde Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit Haus ideal für aktive Gäste 2 Personen vielleicht mit Kinder Mit Auto 5 Minuten zum Dorf und 5 Minuten zum Strand Ohne Auto eine halbe stunde zum Dorf wie auch zum Strand Cons: Die zufahrt Strasse war ein bisschen abenteuerlicher

Pros: Super huis, met heerlijke grote en omheinde tuin. Ideaal voor honden. Mooie wandelmogelijkheden. En last but not least een super gastvrije en zorgzame eigenaresse, Maria. Echt aan te bevelen deze accommodatie. Zeer goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Cons: Niets.

Pros: La casa está muy bien situada, están las playas cerca y también los supermercados. La casa está limpia y tiene mucho encanto. Y lo mejor es que está rodeada de naturaleza, tranquilidad y armonía. A más es ideal para ir con tus mascotas, se lo pasan genial!!

Ein Stück Zuhause in der Ferne

Pros: Sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Maria ist eine sehr warmherzige ,sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Durch die persönliche Note im Detail zeichnet sich die sehr gepflegte und sehr saubere Finca mit einem Ambiente von Urlaub, Ferien, Wohlbehagen aus. Der weiträumige Garten hat das Flair des Südens mit Olivenbäumen und Pinien. Sonne für die die es wollen, sowie milden Schatten für einen gechillten Aufenthalt. Wir jedenfalls freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Urlaub dort. Unsere Hunde haben sich mindestens genauso wohlgefühlt wie wir. Dazu die Nähe zum Meer und vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Un lugar encantador donde desconectar y disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Pros: Además de la casa que es fantástica, nos encantaron las vistas con unos atardeceres increíbles y el entorno, con rutas increíbles para visitar. Cons: Nos sentimos como en casa. La limpieza y calidez nos hicieron la estancia muy agradable. Repetiremos seguro.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in Einzellage

Pros: Die Eigentümerin nimmt frühzeitig Kontakt mit ihren Gästen auf und empfängt sie persönlich. Diese persönliche, liebevolle Note spürt man auch bei der Einrichtung des Ferienhauses. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die vielen Tipps zur Gestaltung unserer Urlaubswoche haben uns sehr geholfen. Auch unser Hund war willkommen und hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Immer gerne wieder! Cons: da fällt uns nichts ein!
