Pet friendly home on the St Johns River ( please read below for pet requirements and pet fee)(No Aggressive Breeds. Pet fee is $50)
3 bedroom 2 Bath waterfront house approximately 1500 sq feet very open and roomy with approximately 150 ft river frontage located on the beautiful St Johns River. The house has 2 covered porches, one located on the river side with amazing sunrises and beautiful river views. Enjoy seeing lots of wildlife such as Wild Turkeys, Alligators, Manatees, Eagles, Hawks, Owls, Turtles, Birds. Also enjoy watching Hummingbirds feeding from our Hummingbird feeder. House is fully equipped with everything you will need to make your stay amazing. Enjoy your own private dock with a cleaning station to clean your catch. Plenty of room for parking your boats and trailers. House sleeps 8 comfortably and there is room for an air mattresses. (10 Max Occupancy). One boat ramp is less than 1/2 mile from house the larger boat ramp is just 15 minutes away at Crystal Cove Marina.
Come enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the amazing sunrises also enjoy Fishing, Shrimping (best time of year is August - September) Boating and all kind of Water Sports or just simply relaxing.
If you don't have a boat for fishing/shrimping enjoy fishing/shrimping off of our private dock while catching Bass ( striped bass, large mouth bass, black bass), Bream (blue gill, speckled perch, shell cracker) Catfish, Mullet, Flounder. You can set a crab trap off the dock and have a crab boil with your catch.
We offer nightly rates with discounted weekly and monthly rates.
Pets allowed with owners approval. Owner must approve before booking.( No aggressive breeds allowed.) pets must be on a leash. $50.00 Pet Fee for extra cleaning. Pet fee must be paid at time of booking.
We have several different Festivals through out the year such as the Bluegrass Festival (February), Azalea Festival (March), Seafood Festival in St Augustine (March) Blueberry Festival (April), Blue Crab Festival (May). If you don't have your own boat and would like to rent one we have several boat rental places, Crystal Cove Boat Fl Rentals

We have Corn Hole Boards for your enjoyment. We also have 2 Kayaks and a small Jon Boat for our guest to enjoy. We are only about an hour and half away from St Augustine and Daytona Beach. We are less than 2 hrs from Walt Disney World( Orlando).

Family of the bride retreat

We chose this house because it was minutes away from the venue where our daughter got married. The house is amazing, large yard, on the St John’s River. Spacious kitchen and living room. Both bathrooms have been completely remodeled. Oversized covered patio perfect for drinking your morning coffee while you watch the sunrise over the river.

Tournament Stay

Nice well-kept older house with old Florida charm. Perfect for fishing tournament stay. Good location and easy drive to Palatka city docks with plenty of room for 2 boats and trucks. Can also tie up boats to property dock.

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful few days! We enjoyed time fishing on the dock and paddling in the kayaks. In Palatka we visited Pizza Boyz and Angels Diner, both were great! The house was comfy and we felt at home. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful Property

My husband and I came up for the weekend for our 22nd anniversary with our little dog. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law joined us the next day. It was beautiful, peaceful & quiet. Everything that we could have needed was right there. And to still be able to watch a comedy movie on Netflix was awesome! All the comforts of home... away from home. It was just so relaxing! We feel in love with this place.

Peace and Quiet

If you’re looking for an off the beaten path, non touristy place to relax then this is the place for you! Charming, rustic, and right on the river. We loved sitting on the deck to watch beautiful river sunrises.

Absolutely best place we have stayed.

We stayed the month of January. We loved our visits with Buddy and Sherrell, they were s wealth of information and great conversationalists. Vicki was very helpful prior to our visit with a phone call she gave me all the information I needed. The beautiful sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. Everyday we could sit outside on the open porch with a black stone grill. if it was too cold they have a huge sliding door to see the beautiful river. Everything was clean and had every utensil to make any kind of meal. We played corn hole with standard size boards. It kept us busy when we were done relaxing. The fire pit was a bonus, for us just such a calming time at the end of the day. We visited Ravine Park numerous times for it serene beauty and walking area. The restaurant Porky’s Bell restaurant is a must to do, Porky’s Bell has outdoor dining and wonderful food. It gets very busy but not a long wait due to its enormity. We would definitely do this home again. I almost felt like I was visiting family and didn’t want to leave.

Picturesque morning dawn on the river -Great family feel

We stayed for Christmas during a visit with extended family. The home has a generational family home feel that added to our vacation. The morning dawn (sunrise) over the river gave us the best pictures-post card worthy! While this was the coldest Christmas in years, we still enjoyed the outdoors, sitting on the dock during sunset allowed the teens to get Instagram and Tic Tok posts they were thrilled with! Home was stocked well for cooking large family meals, clean and everything you needed for an extended stay.

Wonderful time

Enjoyed staying on the river at this house. The convenience of the dock was wonderful. We used the Crystal Cove Marina to put in our boat, it's about 6 miles south of the house. Keep in mind when tying up your boat the tide will rise and fall, bring boat bumpers to protect your boat while tied up at the dock.

Stay Calm and Stanley River House (Est 1955) On!

Calm, scenic and serene! Great getaway for family or friends, off the beaten path large property with dock and directly on St. John's River. We had no issues with dockage for large center console using anchor as counterpoint to keep us off dock and low tide not an issue. Crystal Cove ramp was $10 to launch and recover, 15 minute river ride away. We came for shrimping but got much more! New Blackstone grill was perfect for cooking everything - shrimp, steaks, dogs, burgers and even a beer can chicken. Kitchen well appointed and plenty of supplies of everything. Bedroom set up was ideal and spacious. Whole home is comfortable and we had everything we needed. Vicky answered all our questions prior and everything went smooth as silk. Stars, water, large oaks, spanish moss, birds and wildlife... plenty of parking and layout makes for a very private estate. Couldn't choose a better place to enjoy some of the many unspoiled joys Florida has to offer! Thank you we WILL be back! Alicia and Eric

We came to fish and fish we did!! Owners are awesome. Very helpful. House is clean Ans comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again. Walk in shower in the master was so amazing after a day of fishing! 5+++ stars!!!!
