About this property
San Salvatore Apartment by Wonderful Italy
Spacious and very bright apartment located in a historic building in the center of Palermo. The accommodation is just a short walk from Palermo Cathedral and the Quattro Canti, and its proximity to Via Vittorio Emanuele means the area is full of restaurants, museums, and churches. Brightness and silence are the main features of this home, in addition to the view over the rooftops of Palermo's historic center.
The house, located on the 2nd floor without elevator, consists of a large open space with very high ceilings and wooden beams. The living area consists of a living room with a sofa, dining table, and a small area with armchairs. The kitchen is open plan with an American-style counter and is fully equipped. From this area, you can access the balconies overlooking an alley in the historic center. Continuing through the house, there is a spiral staircase leading to the loft, where there is a children's area with games and a bookcase. The sleeping area consists of a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a wardrobe on a mezzanine. The hallway leads to the other two queen-size bedrooms, which share a bathroom with shower along the hallway. One bedroom opens onto a small terrace overlooking the interior.
*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Palermo is a vibrant and constantly evolving city. Its historic center is bustling with life day and night and is undergoing an urban redevelopment project. You may hear noise from construction sites, as well as from bars and meeting places for tourists and residents.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival, you may be required to pay a tourist tax, the amount of which varies according to local regulations. You will find all the information relating to your booking in the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Palermo, one of Italy's most beautiful cities of art and the capital of Sicily, offers the wonder of UNESCO World Heritage sites that can be visited in the city's four historic districts. In this regard, tourists can take part in the “Baroque itinerary of Palermo” to visit the city's main monuments, such as: the Church of the Holy Savior, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto, and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to take part in the “Tour of Palermo's Historic Markets,” which allows guests to explore the Ballarò and Capo markets, where lunch or snacks are “strictly” to be eaten with your hands! This tour also gives tourists the opportunity to admire important buildings, streets, and squares.
The accommodation is 33 km from Palermo Falcone and Borsellino Airport and 3 km from Palermo Central Station.
