We enjoyed our stay at Shadow Mountain Resort. Our villa was comfortable, spacious and clean. It’s an older resort which is reflected in the style, but it seems to be maintained well. We were in a two bedroom and while one bed was comfortable, the other was on the hard side. It would be great if places like this would offer a topper to be added under the bottom sheet for those who prefer a softer mattress. There were a couple of minor things that could use attention: the carpet while kept clean is needing replacing (unit 615); it’s at the age where it’s crunchy shag. Also the sliding shutter doors weren’t working very well and could use some maintenance. We kind of gave up trying to open them because it seemed they might break. All in all, though, it was a nice stay and we hope to return and have time to use the pool which looked very inviting.

Shadow Mountain Resort is a hidden gem! The staff is friendly, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the location is perfect, close to shops, dining, and great golf. The pool area is relaxing, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. A great spot for a relaxing getaway!
