The Space:
When you hit the brakes in the bearthy driveway and step out into the warm, fragrant Palm Springs air, you’re struck by how peaceful yet electric the feeling is in this part of town. Jungalow is nestled in El Rancho Vista Estates, a quintessential community lined with palm trees, desert landscaping, and fruit trees that sizzle and sway in the breeze.


You pass through the front doorway and feel a sense of calm and excitement as you survey the living, kitchen, and dining areas. There are polished concrete floors, clean lines, and the stylish look of mid-century furniture and chandeliers enhanced by walls of glass and clerestory windows. Swing from room to room on a canopy of good vibes and modern amenities. Each bedroom is fit for the king of The Jungalow.

After you wash off the dust from the drive down in one of the two sparkling clean bathrooms, grab a plush towel, and head to the backyard. King Louie, your big golden Jungalow guide, looks on as you and your guests relax and unwind by the watering hole: a secluded heated pool. Brew up some tropical beverages, dive in, and unplug. Sometimes it’s good to be more monkey than man.

We booked this for a girls weekend (3 of us) and had a lovely time. There were a few challenges with the property so I will give the highlights and lowlights, as I would have liked to have known them too. Highlights:Fabulous, fun, and spunky property. The decor was fun and outrageous! Lots of detail in the decor throughout the house. A whimsical style made for a unique stay. The house is in a lovely and safe, quiet neighborhood. Someone had complained about street noise in another review, but the house isn’t in the middle of nowhere, so you can expect suburban traffic noise. It isn’t awful. It is close the airport. We loved the pool, the house was plenty spacious and most of the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was an added bonus. There were three loungers-just enough for each of us. Pool was perfect. Everything was clean.Water pressure in house was good, shower amenities available. We asked to extend our stay by one day and it was no problem! Lowlights: no outlets in the kitchen or front bathroom worked. Kitchen outlets visibly broken. Management company slow to respond to several messages.Home was in need of many general repairs. We had to go to store to purchase toilet paper and paper towels. Disposal in kitchen did not work and sink backed up a bit. Management company didn’t respond to this issue. No instructions/guidance for house. Most VRBO homes provide details about the house and area for guests. Beach towels hidden in basket w/o knowledge.

Cute but needs improvements

I recently stayed at this property and while the decor was absolutely adorable with cute gorilla statues, and the interior was very clean, we faced several issues. The gate code didn't work and the buttons on the door were hard to see. Basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap were missing. The shower items were unlabeled, and the hot tub was grimy. The outside area needed upkeep as well. Despite these issues, the host was very responsive. With a few improvements, it could be a fantastic stay.

Lovely MCM in Palm Springs

Great house. Well maintained! Great pool, jacuzzi and fire pit. Had a blast playing foosball! My wife and kids loved it. Close to downtown and Air Museum.

The Jungalow was Fungalow.

Girl’s trip to Palm Springs. Very nice home and pool. Well stocked kitchen supplies. Enjoyed every moment. The only down side was it backs up to a busy street. However the pool was in the front and the noise was mostly insulated. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Girls Trip!

"Hi! The "Jungalow" was the perfect place for our annual "girls trip". The home was immaculate and had everything included they disclosed. We LOVED the pool and all the amenities! Communication was excellent and she was very quick to respond to any of our requests. The only thing was that the ice maker did not work and with warm weather we missed it! Overall, we will definitely be returning! Thank you!"

Palm Springs Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jungalow! The attention to detail, cleanliness, communication with property managers, incredible decor, privacy and mid century modern architecture far surpassed our expectations! The grill was a big hit for lunch! The location was also great, only 10 minutes from downtown! Excellent stay!
