Rawlings Suite Retreat is our place of serenity when we need to get away. Who doesn't want to come enjoy the white sand and gorgeous it waters in the Gulf of Mexico? B16 has plenty of room with 1500 sq ft of living area plus 2 balconies that overlook a beautiful Koi fish and turtle lake. The unit is beachside, so no crossing streets to get to the beach. The beach is a short stroll across the courtyard. One balcony is off the living room and the second balcony is off the master suite. There are no elevators to wait on at Sugar Beach! Our unit is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the complex. So, just a few stairs right up to the front door. Our unit is conveniently close to the gated entrance. And while the complex is far enough from the congested areas it is close enough to everything you would need. This unit is perfect for families or a group of friends!
Upstairs bedrooms are both large and accommodating with TV's and Blue Ray's, and their own private bathrooms.
Down stairs bedroom has a TV and bathroom right beside it.
Full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, full refrigerator/freezer, and most cookware you would need (pots and pans, cups, plates, bowls, toaster, mixer, juicer, crockpot, etc.).
Living room has a queen size fold out couch, loveseat, and 2 chairs. TV and Blue Ray and game stick with 2 controllers for kids to play while inside. We have left several movies of all types to enjoy. Dining room has a 4 -seat table plus 2 seats at the bar.
There is a washer and dryer in the closet under the stairs. Both balconies have outdoor seating available.
There is a closet just prior to entry that houses some beach items for you to enjoy while there. And rental comes with a set of beach chairs /umbrella service from March to October. This saves you about $45 per day. Balcony closet off the living room also houses some beach items and master balcony closet has a few items as well.
Several great restaurants within walking distance- Bricks and Barley, Guadalajara, Hammer Head Fred’s, Longboards. Subway. Nice wine store across the street. Duplin winery a short drive that offers tasting and live music!
Parking/registration fee of $37 per vehicle required for stay. Allow pull trailers, with permission from office, for $100 per stay. Prefer 2 vehicles but check with owner if one more is needed.
Grills are located by the pool. Also, there is a pool house with restrooms and a ping pong table for your enjoyment. Tennis/pickle ball courts and shuffleboard on the courtyard! Lit until 10pm. We have tennis and pickle ball equipment in the condo for your use.

Guests will need to preregister your vehicles prior to arrival for parking passes to be used while on the property. A link will be provided by owner prior to your stay to do this. This is also where you will need to register any pets.

Pets are allowed upon owner approval first.
Max 2 pets. Any size (dogs) Must get approval BEFORE BOOKING with owner due to breed restrictions.
Must provide vaccination records and pay our HOA via the link owner will send prior to your stay. Pet fees are $80 first pet & $40 2nd pet for 3 nights stay or less. Pet fees are $150 and $50 2nd pet for any stay greater than 3 nights. In addition, owner charges a one-time pet fee of $25. All pet fees are nonrefundable.
The following breeds are NOT allowed on the property: Akita, Akita Inu, Perro de Presa Canario, Chow, Doberman Pincher, German Shephard, Pit Bull, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier, or Wolf Hybrids
Pets must have HOA approved leash tag or owner armband required- provided upon arrival to complex when preregistered.
Renters must abide by pet regulations per our HOA including removal of pet excrement immediately while on premises. Pets are not allowed on the beach or in the pool/grilling area at Sugar Beach. There is a beach near the city pier for dogs and there are multiple restaurants & shopping venues that allow pets. A list will be provided prior to arrival date.
