Summary:

Caught in the Sun is located in Seacrest Beach tucked between Alys and Rosemary Beach on scenic Hwy. 30-A. The family-oriented haven is overflowing with activities on site, and nearby including the famous 12,000 sq. foot lagoon pool, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, bike rentals & trails, and a general store. Access the free beach tram service to the private deeded beach and relax on the white sandy beaches and cool off in the emerald green waters of South Walton.



The Space:

This home is the ideal retreat for multiple couples and families featuring an open living room and kitchen area perfect for entertaining. The newly renovated kitchen is a chef's delight with custom cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless appliances. The large kitchen island provides ample space for prepping delicious meals and additional seating at the bar. The dining room table seats 8 comfortably, plus an addition 4 at the counter and 4 at the card table. The spacious living area has ample seating for everyone and a large flat screen TV provides family entertainment for relaxing after a day of fun in the sun.



Bedroom 1: On the main level, there is a master bedroom with a King bed and a big, beautiful walk-in shower, dual vanity and walk in closet.



Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms and a separate kid’s TV/Play/Seating area with sleeper sofa.



Bedroom 2: A large master-suite with king bed and easy access to the rear balcony with seating for 4 and lovely nature views. Its luxurious bathroom has a large walk-in shower and double vanities.



Bedroom 3: A roomy bedroom with queen bed and access to the large front balcony. This bedroom has a large closet and private bathroom.



Bedroom 4: The bunk room with beds for up to 8 is a great place for all the kids. This room has 2 queen over queen bunkbeds that allow for up to 8 guests. The bunk room has its own bathroom and is adjacent to the kid’s TV/Play/Seating area.



Upstairs seating area has a sofa sleeper with a full mattress.



All bedrooms have flat screen TV's, spacious closets and en-suite bathrooms.



The back deck overlooking the nature preserve and walking trail provides a great place for social or relaxing activities. When you are ready to do some shopping and dining, walk or bike the pathway conveniently located directly behind this home to the town of Rosemary Beach.

Wonderful family vacation

We had a great family vacation at this property. Mr. Chris was a great host. The only thing we regret was that we accidentally left our baby bottle warmer there. We are sure that it will be helpful for the next guests with babies:) We will definitely come back again in the future.

Great house and even better location

The house is bigger than you can see from the pictures, we had plenty of space and privacy for 2 families of 4. Each room with it's independant bathroom is a great plus. The house has an storage room outside with a loot of extra stuff for your beach trip. The neighborhood is perfect for long stays, great pool, restaurants and beach at walking distance. The shuttle service to the beach is nice if you mind walking 3 blocks.

Nice place but needs a refresh!

I loved the layout and loved the style of this place. It was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 6 kids), but the towels needed to be replaced (they STUNK even after we washed them twice). The carpet looks quite dirty on the stairs. Even the couches and pillows needed a good steam cleaning. I know it’s a beach house but nobody wants to think it’s other people’s dirt they’re sitting on! Location was great! A little bit of a walk to pool and beach but close to restaurants etc.

Great Location!

This property was great! The location was perfect, great access to downtown Rosemary. The pool was amazing! We did not make it to the beach (we were only in town for a wedding weekend), but it seemed easy enough to get to. Some complaints are that the HOA is very strict. They told us to move our car when it was *literally* 1 inch of tire on the sidewalk. Also, communication with the host was sometimes slow. Overall, I highly recommend! The pricing is some of the best in the area and the home is gorgeous.

Great home for family and friends!!

The home was SO spacious! We had 11 people. We definitely could have had 5 more. All of the rooms were a perfect fit for all of my guest. My older kids loved the bikes! They loved the outdoor balconies. We had room for 4 cars to park in the driveway. Lots and lots of things within walking distance. The pool was massive. There were probably 75 people in and around and it did not feel crowded at all. We had and amazing week!!! Would definitely choose this house again ♥️

A Great Stay Overall

We enjoyed our stay and the property was beautiful. Upon arrival we were informed by the community that the check-in procedure had changed, requiring us to navigate to a different location to retrieve the welcome packet that we were told would be delivered, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, the home was lovely, and provided us with plenty of space, but did not meet our cleanliness standards. The water dispenser was broken on the refrigerator, the kitchen was showing significant signs of wear and tear, and the walls are in need of a good cleaning. We were disappointed that one of the bikes was damaged when we arrived. We appreciated the prompt communication with the owner.

We absolutely loved our stay at Seacrest Beach! The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our group of 16. The added balconies were a great place for the kids to hang out and to play games. The pool is AMAZING! The option to ride the golf cart trolleys to the beach and the pool was a huge bonus. Kept our cars dry and sand free. The neighborhood has cute shops and restaurants within walking distance. We are already considering booking the house again next year because we just loved it so much!
